Lovely spot right on the beach. The terraced plots give most sites an ocean view. Fabulous outlook, friendly site. Kitchen we used was tiny which did cause some issues. Some other campers seemed to have an issue with the fact that I was using the cooker before them, and kept asking if I was nearly done. I found this unnecessary but not the campsite's fault.

Stayed one night in one of the two room cabins. Great lil cabins, have all you need, fantastic spot. Very clean and great to sit out on the deck. What was even better was being able to bring our fairly large dog, who was allowed to sleep inside in his doggy bed (since it was very very cold !). No cell phone coverage but thats fairly typical of the area in general. Friendly, helpful staff. We will be back to stay !

Room Tip: If you are travelling with kids, I recommend the two bedroom cabins. Great wee cabins.

we (2 families with young kids) stayed at the campsite for a couple of nights in the self-contained units up on the hill. amazing views of the beach, 1 minute walk down to the sea (or quicker if you have to hop across the hot sand!). only gripe would be the lack of phone coverage, but that shouldn't really be an issue if you're on holiday i suppose! the girl at reception was super helpful too, absolutely can't wait to go back :o)

The holiday park is in a great location right on the beach, and the beach is pretty nice, and often sheltered from the wind. The surf is great when it's running, and the village has good food and a couple of useful little shops.

The charge of 19 per person for camping is too much as the facilities are not that amazing. Sadly they charge 50c for five minutes of a terrible shower (shabby, poor water pressure, no dry area to hang clothes).

Room Tip: You may not want to camp on the beach if it's super windy, but otherwise you should go there.

We stayed just one night in a studio unit and everything was superb.
The unit itself was very clean and welcoming with two deck chairs to enjoy the afternoon sun. The view was great, the staff were very helpful and welcoming and the bathroom's were the best we've ever seen at a campground. You have to pay 50c for a shower, but they're totally worth it.
It's right on the beach and only a short walk to the local village where you'll find a pub, a couple of cafes, a Four Square, fish and chips and a gas station.

Room Tip: We stayed in a cabin, which was perfect for just two people. The camp sites are right by the beach a...
