Lots and lots of stairs up to the main temple, takes your breath away with the climb and again with the view once there.
There is a very steep ladder to the uppermost part of the temple which is set into the cliff in a cave. Not for the faint hearted or those with short legs.
Depending on when you go you can see some stunning colours, either Cherry Blossom in the spring or reds and oranges in the Autumn, I am fortunate to have been both seasons.
One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Cant wait to go back.
