I liked this place but just wasn't blown away by it at all. Basic Italian, done reasonable well but nothing so different to what you can find in Osaka, Tokyo or any big city.

Good point - The restaurant does have a nice ambiance and was a pleasant place to eat.

Bad points - Why, in summer, were dried herbs sprinkled on the pizza??? Most Japanese restaurants offer water without needing to ask for it, especially after you have finished an alcoholic drink. The owner walking thru the restaurant on a personal call. Nothing so bad at all but just made me think it was ordinary and nothing so special.

Fantastic service and food! Staff were very friendly and helpful. They took the time to translate the entire message into English for us.

We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta which tasted great!

I decided to visit Milk and Beer hall 99 after reading all the amazing reviews on Tripadvisor, and I can say, with conviction, that this restaurant lived up to the hype. It was the best Italian food id had not only in Japan but ever. The pizzas are incredible! The ingredients they use are just so fresh and deliciously seasoned. I also would recommend the desserts- I had the cheesecake (which was incredibly delicate and so soft. Tasted amazing with the berry sauce on the side) and crime brûlée (just incredible). The staff were also so friendly. I had the most amazing time. Without a doubt one of the best meals I've had in Japan! Would highly recommend.

This is not a cafe, it's a very good restaurant! Small, but excellent meny in combination of great service. Greatest number of wines I met in Japan, including my favorite Amarone.

Went here for dinner and had pasta (delicious), risotto (ok) and pizza (best ever with prociutto). No english menu but Staff speaks excellent english. The map does not show correct location, its on the street that has all the ginza signs with lots if restaurants and a couple of 100 meters from the man road. Piles of wood outside restaurant for the pizza oven!
