price was not really an issue, I was willing to pay much to have the perfect experience...and not sure this was it. Temple and rooms were cold (temp outside was in the low 40's at night)...but with the kerosene heater..it did warm up, it not a bit smelly of fuel. Blankets and pillows smelled of moisture/dampness...and spider webs clung to the light fixtures. More like camping than a high end experience. We had a room looking onto the small garden which was a plus. Dinner was actually nice and had plenty of items to choose from...no issues. It was extremely close to the cemetary but certainly everyplace probably is so not enough to choose this over another Temple Lodging site. We thought we were in the New wing....but can't imagine that to be true..tixtures were old and dated. Had the feeling of being under construction but felt like it last was touched decades ago. Didn't really see much of the monks until the morning ceremony, which made it feel a bit staged (maybe they simple travel from lodge to lodge for the tourists?)...overall glad I had the experience, but not sure this was the best option to have it at.
