We were greeted by a driver at the train station who was waiting for us- even though no communication had been made that we would get a shuttle, I was great full because the hotel is located up the hill!
The staff, who spoke enough English to get us settled in, were so sweet and friendly.
When you enter the hotel, don't be discouraged by the carpet- its a bit dirty, but we found the room was clean, as were the facilities we used on the property (onsen, and I saw them cleaning the pool every day). It's just an old hotel.
Rooms were plenty spacious, we had a lovely balcony and room that overlooked the pool and the ocean.
The wifi did not reach our room- I could access it in the lobby only.
There's a path that runs to the side of the hotel that will take you down to the main part of town (beach, bus stop). The path is next to the underground tunnel to the family mart.
Make sure to ask about dining times and places! The last night we were there, everything was closed (not sure why) and we wound up eating at the family mart!
