“Best time for photo”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

Just share a little tip - if you are up early between 6-7am, it's the best time to capture a clear vision of the lake. It happens in 2 consecutive mornings during our stay. At other times of the day, the lake and surroundings appear foggy or hazy. Not sure if it's the clouds or the sun rays that cause it.

“Big Lake with winter fat gull”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

CYC(2013. 2)+G
The circiumference of the lake was about 40km. And in the middle of the lake, there is a small unhabited island. We rode on a small cruise(Espoir) and looked around the lake. The lake was very big and the landscape was very good.

“Simply breathtaking!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

This is very similar experience to seeing the real Mt. Fuji and the lake, except that this is Edo Mt. Fuji, the new Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido, and not of all Japan :-) Years back, we stayed in a small ryokan overseeing the majestic snow-capped Mt. Fuji. This year, we are enjoying the same breathtaking winter scenery, but this time of Lake Toya and the snow-caped Edo Mt. Fuji.
