stayed for 1n in what was previously called "okhotsk club" room, the one with onsen bath on balcony, and a gas fireplace. very nicely laid out and tastefully decorated room, really enjoyable. the rest of the hotel was nice and stylish too, but obviously caters to a lot of people at the same time. dinner was a buffet - above average for sure but nevertheless a buffet. public onsen was a disappointment: was very 'clinical' - nothing natural about it, no smelly water. given the proximity of shiretoko national park, i was expecting something little bit more 'natural' overall. not a bad place for a very large tourist hotel, but if you're looking for something down to earth, go somewhere else.

Room tip: get the room with a hot spring on the balcony and don't leave the room, seriously!!

The hotel locates very close to most of the Eight Views of Shiretoko. I had a sea facing Japanese style room. It’s not very spacious but it faces Okhotsk Sea. It gives you a sense of tranquility. The open air onsen is on the rooftop. You can see the starry starry night when you enjoy hot spring there.
One drawback of the hotel is that they do not provide the choice of onsen dinner. All hotel guests have buffet dinner. Although there are many choices, the whole restaurant is full of people. I still prefer onsen dinner.

We stayed here for one night but the environment and facilities in this hotel really surprised us!
The dinner buffet was very delicious, fruitful and well presented. I extremely like the rooftop hot spring as you can experience the seagulls fly nearby you!

Lovely hotel with great service. Good to use as a base to explore shiretoko. However, as with most of Hokkaido, limited English is spoken here. Attention to detail is just impeccable. However, it rained a lot while we were here so could not explore the area much. There was a indoor mini kids playground which helped to keep my children entertained as it poured outside. Do note that this is a Japanese onsen hotel.

Friendly and efficient service, comfortable room with our own Onsen on the terrace with a view of the coast. Japanese restaurant or varied buffet restaurant with a large selection of different food styles, very good. We enjoyed our stay. It was the right choice for exploring the peninsula
