A bit off the beaten track, this hotel seems frozen in time in many respects. We booked a premium ocean view room, but were given an upgrade to a premium pool view on the south side thanks to my IC Ambassador card. The room was pleasant enough, comfortable without being luxurious, situated on the top (9th) floor with greats views of both pools and the bay area. The room was clean and well maintained, even though the decor was a bit dated. I found the full window between the room and the bathroom rather disconcerting, blinds notwithstanding. Wi-fi was free, albeit a little temperamental. The public facilities are attractive and well kept up, particularly the pool area, although again I could not escape the feeling that the hotel needs a face lift. The internal atrium going up the full 9 floors is impressive at first glance, but the white metal balustrades on each floor look a bit grubby on closer inspection, no doubt due to the proximity to the sea. The elevators are painfully slow at peak hours. The gym is small but fairly well equipped. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, so we did not have much chance to use the beach facilities, but from what we saw there is a very active beach and water sport scene going on at Manza beach. Of the onsite restaurants, we tried only the Aqua Belle which gives a good tasty meal at a reasonable price, but there are also Japanese and Chinese restaurants in the hotel, and a steak house close by. Note however, that all restaurants take last dinner orders at 9.00pm (sic!), and the room service menu is but a brief read. The staff were unfailingly helpful and polite, especially in the executive lounge on the top floor, although we had the odd communication difficulties. Breakfast in the Aqua Belle was actually very good. Guided tours of the island are available, but we preferred to hire a car and drive around. With a built-in English language GPS and well sign-posted roads, it really was very easy and convenient. In conclusion, a pleasant and reasonably priced resort hotel with good facilities and a very considerate staff, but not quite up to the Intercontinental standard I am used to in other facilities of the chain.

Room Tip: Premium rooms have outstanding views, and are worth the extra cost. Sea view rooms face north, pool...

After arriving Naha airport, its easy to get to this hotel i.e. by a direct bus service for which you can buy tickets at the arrival floor.
We had a great stay in this hotel. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable.
As a quite regular IHG user, we were met by the hotels Guest Relations representative, which took care of our check-in and informed us about the hotels many services. Great.

A clean and big pool next to the lobby area, and it's heated to 30C so you can swim comfortably even the air temperature may be a bit harsh.

A free shuttle cab can take you to the hotels main gate near the main road, to the Italian restaurant or to the beach near the hotel, if you prefer not to walk. Even you have almost everything you need at the hotel itself, right outside this gate, you will find some small shops too, including a Mini mart.
We liked the area a lot, but it was a little too early in the year and a little too cold to enjoy the beaches at the fullest.
And for your info, no less that two Wedding Chapels are located right next to the hotel :-). I can imagine this destination would be great for a Honeymoon trip too.

As almost every room is designed with the door heading into the hotels huge interior/hall, you may hear some noise and sounds from the lobby and entertainment area. Not much to talk about really, but it's there if you are a sensitive person.

Our room also had a quite "open" solution for the bathroom (actually located in the entrance of the room), and the shower and toilet located separately. No worries if you are a family, but if you happen to travel with work-colleagues or similar and sharing a room, you may should think about this.
Fast and stable Internet WiFi connections almost everywhere around the hotel.

Not sure if this counts for all room types, but we had the great option to choose either to have breakfast OR lunch as it would suit us - at any of the various restaurants at the hotel. What a great touch.

Along the shore, you also have a nice walking path which ends up neat the hotels. second pool and Italian restaurant.

The hotel got a good selection of restaurants, we often used the the AQUA BELLE for a great breakfast (good variety, and a bit western style food, eggs, bacon/ham, potatoes etc.). We also tried the UNKAI one morning, and here you will get a more typical Japanese breakfast, like various fish, noodles etc.)

I can really recommend to try the Chinese buffet in the KARIN restaurant one night for dinner. A HUGE selection of various Chinese dishes and a great way to taste many new and interesting things.

Room Tip: Both sides of the hotel offers great views of the ocean - just different. One side you have the park...

We stayed here from 22/4-24/4. The Hollywood room is relatively small but the view is gorgeous! We stayed on 7/F with lovely live music every night until 9pm. We just left our door a little open for the music. The room is clean. We particularly love the shuttle service running between Manza Beach and the hotel. What you need is just pick up the phone at the Beach building and the shuttle bus (more like a van) will come immediately.

We had dinner at 雲海 and a restaurant located at the beach since we were too lazy to drive to Onna district for dinner. Fabulous Japanese cuisine particularly at 雲海 the Japanese restaurant.

Overall we love it a lot. Highly recommended!

I saw youtube and pics which seemed great. I booked 7 nights. I asked for several queries by email for vacation preparation and got email 5 days later.

The email said they will get back to me soon but no reply. so I emailed again and no reply for days.

I don't understand where's your Intercontinental standard for tiny email favor. I would have cancelled my book unless it's not peak season... disappointed even before my trip

Beautiful resort hotel in Okinawa, with view of the Cape Manza (elephant trunk), and the beach.

The first night, there was a violinist playing at the lobby stage, makes this place extra special.

The hotel and the room was very clean and nice.
Loved the Unkai Japanese restaurant, but didn't care for the Aqua Belle (Western cuisine).

The view of Cape Manza is unidputable breathtaking and at times even magical. In addition the resort lobby enjoys a daoily variety of musical performances to create a relazing resort atmosphere, especially with our open-air atrium entrance.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed Unkai, however we regreat that the food slection at Aqua Belle did not fully suite your taste. For western choice we recently opened our Salvatore Cuomo Italizan dining as well as during summer season we offer our western style steak house "The Grill", please enjoy these restaurants during your next visit.

This is officially our favorite hotel in Okinawa.
We visited this hotel last year, but this year is better because we register to be IHG member before booking and got lots of facility as member (even no point yet). The beach facility, games, kayak, aqua bike, volley ball, in-line skate, golf, parasol, bicycle and many others which usually for rental, were all free for member! I spent over 25,000 yen last year for same facilities.
Hotel public area are clean, casual and chic, lively.
Room is clean, not so spacious, but who stay in the room in this very nice resort?
Their newly open Volare restaurant near beach has very nice tropical setting, sofa over the grass, under the beach, by the ocean.
Note this. If you own Amex credit card, the restaurant automatically give you 10% discount at the buffet restaurant. Staff was friendly and kind enough to tell this so I ran up to take my card from our room save box to enjoy the discount for our dinner.
I tried the spa. Massage was good, clean and better than those in Tokyo.
Sunset from this hotel is superb.
We will definitely come back again.
Oh I should mentioned, this hotel is surrounded by the beaches, mean, whichever room you got, it is ocean view.

Room Tip: Be the member. It is free and the benefit is awesome.

We stayed at the ANA Intercon Manza Beach Resort for the second time last week. We are a family of four and first visited this resort last October. The resort is situated on a small pennisula, with stunning ocean views all around. This is a family style hotel with lots to do for kids such as a water park, bike rentals, pool, etc., The dining options were plentiful and high quality. It was nice to see old friends in the lounge like Mitsunaga-san and Pier Liugi who really went the extra mile to make our stay special. We really had a great time both visits and will highly recomend this hotel to our friends. Great team/great hotel!
