Location and everything great, lovely lobby all very stylish. Just a pity the food was so bad - aqua belle was atrocious - school dinner style fare and far from cheap. Such a pity Intercontinental get it wrong again

Since the hotel we booked before was a crap, we decided to book this time in the last minute. Though the price will be double, We definitely do not regret to make this decision.

Actually the normal price worths a lot becoz the beach is great , especially the Water castle. The room is great with 180 degree ocean view, the size is adequate and it is clean . The room design is fashionable in aqua blue.

The service is excellent. We enjoyed staying here so much with no intention to go outside anymore.

When driving towards the hotel, it looks like a big white cruise ship. The interior lobby is a spectacular site...very open concept and you can see a cross section of the entire hotel from the centre. The elevators look like a giant clear capsule. I enjoyed my stay here, which is only for one night as my cousin held her wedding reception here. The food is exceptional, which is in line with all the buffets I experienced in Okinawa...everything tasted local, fresh, and flavorful to the max!

Our room was facing the beach/ocean which is breathtaking, especially in the early morning when nobody is out yet. I have to say however, that there is a very bizarre window on one of the walls beside the bed, and it looks right into the shower stall of the bathroom....lol...kinda perverted, no? And the funniest part is that the blinds for this window is controlled by the person outside, so the person showering has no control over peeping toms!

Anyways, if you know for sure you're going to stay here, book on the website at least a month early to take advantage of the early booking specials!

Set on a promontory overlooking a lovely bay, the hotel is ideally located for water sports (plenty are on offer from snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, kayaking to jet skis) and sun set views. The hotel has six restaurants offering a real variety of food, which is very fresh but the quality varies considerably; breakfasts were uninspiring and whilst some of the food was really enjoyable (such as at 'The Grill') we had spent the previous fortnight on mainland Japan eating food of at least comparable standard, if not better fair, for a lot less money than the restaurants were charging. The Aqua Belle was particularly disappointing with overcooked, rubbery fish and an uninspiring menu.

The rooms were very comfortable and we had a lovely view over the bay. Hotel staff were very obliging. Our only criticism was the noise from the atrium. We went at the beginning of the school holidays. The hotel offers a whole range of options for families, which is great, but as all rooms open onto an uncarpeted atrium, the sound of excitable children shouting and being generally noisy meant that on several occasions we felt we had a kindergarten located just outside our room; when the noise starts at 8am in the morning it is very unwelcome. As two adults coming away for some much needed rest and relaxation, I cannot say the hotel provided all that we expected, although there is quite a lot to commend it.

For the price, you don't get the luxury you may get in other parts of Asia, but nonetheless, recognising that fact, all in all it was a reasonably enjoyable stay.

Thank you very much for having stayed and enjoyed Manza facilities and services while in Okinawa. Your comment about the breakfast at Aquabelle and its food quality/menu balance/menu variety have been taken into account. I will personnally work with the heads of department concerned to ensure a high and consistent quality throughout. Yes, during the summer vacation we tend to welcome families. Your comment of praise about our colleagues will be shared accordindly. Thank you once again and we are looking forward to welcoming you back to Manza, maybe during another period of the year.
Thank you and kind regards
Sincerely

Nice view from hotel room! Although the price is not cheap, room decoration is just like a 3 star hotel.... but still clean & nice.
Nice and efficient staff, they just know very simple english but they will try everything to help!
Rental car can be parked just outside the hotel entrance and staff will just help you to park and take the car to you.
The beach is nice and big! Kids can go to the water park provided by the hotel!
You can enjoy free hot spring, swimming pool in the hotel too... not big but ok
