We always like to go to this shop since they have a big selection of goods (cookies, glasses, ...) and also you see how beni imo tarts (okinawan speciality) are produced.
Compared to last time we were there (3 years ago) they extended the shop, thought the food selection got reduced in the restaurant in the second floor. (Still has a nice view)

This place offers much more than just cookies. They sell souvenirs, juice, pesto, salt and cosmetics. You will find here anything you need.
There is also a nice beach, cafe, ice cream parlour.

Only 10 minutes drive from Cape Manza, this is a really nice pit stop on our way up from Naha to Nago. Okashigoten have many other branches across Okinawa, but this one is the only branch that have the assembly line and cafe at the same time. Of course, you can buy the dessert at more popular tourist destination, such as the Kokusai Street (International Street) but you won't get to see the magic that goes behind the scene (for free) and the million dollar sea view (also for free!) that comes with it.

The store is the official store selling the Okinawa famous sweet potato egg tart. The tart itself is not too sweet and they had won many national award for this dessert.

Reading some of the reviews here, it felt like it is a well-kept secret from many foreigners. So be sure to visit!
