“Very nice hotel for this price range”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

I stayed for 3 nights in end June 2012. It's a very nice hotel with specticular view. The beach is right in front of the hotel, just a few steps from the hotel lobby, which is the main reason I chose this hotel. I can play many water sports in the hotel. The facilities are very good too, like the hotspring and the indoor and outdoor swimming pool. There're 7 restaurants in the hotel which offer many choices to the customers. I definitely will stay in this hotel again!!

Room Tip: must be seaview room

The resort hotel has about 800 rooms, so it's quite big. My room was very spacious (especially for japan) and had nice ocean view. It's located directly at a beautiful beach and you can directly snorkle between some corals in a crystal clear water. There are plenty of water activities. I never had the feeling of a crowded beach or pool. The breakfast is good and covers japanese style cold and hot meals, various fruits and western style as croissants, waffles etc. Everything is very clean. The only downside is the busy street where during the night hyperactive motor cycler make to much noise.

The quite big hotel is nicely located on the sea side with a nice and clean portion of beach near a pier you can walk towards. The corner room was quite large but a bit outdated. A pleasant moment was to enjoy the buffet breakfast on the restaurant terrace.
The evening buffet restaurant was without any soul, and even if the food items looked nice the place was not attractive at all. There is an in house shop, in house convenience store a few restaurants and a game center for the young clients.
At night, a few large spots lit the sea side facing the hotel allowing you a nice stroll after diner.
There is nothing else around the hotel, just another restaurant and a small convenient store.
The staff is friendly, but almost none of them speak enough English to get beyond the basic check in or check out procedure.
On TV there is only one semi English BBC channel available, but simultaneously translate in Japanese making it impossible to understand.
The room they supplied us did not have any internet access and upon check in they id not ask us our needs, the space around the bath tub is too small to place any soap or shampoo.
There is an additional 500 JPY cost just for the parking even for staying guests.

As others have mentioned, this hotel is right on the beach and a beautiful beach at that. We were lucky to get an ocean view room which makes a world of difference as the other side faces the "garden" and a busy road. This is a big hotel, a lot of people and a lot of families. The restaurants are good and tasty, the breakfast restaurant has a huge assortment of dishes but be prepared for a lot of people.

The rooms are fine, nothing special. The AC sits on the balcony so if you go out to enjoy the view the AC is humming loudly and blowing warm air on you unless you turn off the AC in the room. Staff are friendly and there are a lot of great water sports and activities to do. One pet peeve I have with this hotel and most Japanese hotels in general is they charge you for beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, etc... seems kinda cheap to me compared to everywhere else in the world where these things are supplied without charge.

You better not plan on working while you are there as there is no WiFi in the hotel. There is one LAN cable in the lobby. That's it.

Overall this is a nice hotel. A few minor inconveniences but noting serious. If you are a family with kids I would highly recommend this hotel, if a romantic couple, maybe not so much...

Room Tip: Ocean view is a must.

This hotel has a really nice sea front, good restaurants and the food is well stocked and always replenished. The view is gorgeous. The hotel has a church that is used to host weddings and there's also an early market in the glass dome. The water activities were plentiful and staff were always around to help. There were quite a few aussies and kiwis working on site which made things easier Koodos. The hotel has free parking for guest so make sure you exchange your parking token/tickets at the lobby desk. WIFI is non existent anywhere else except for the lobby. The rooms are quite sizeable and if i'm not wrong this hotel is the largest seaside resort in Okinwawa. There are quite a few dive shops not far away from the hotel near Moon beach. For visitors who want to buy waterproof cameras go to the Familymart across the street from the hotel they are only 980 Yen there, as opposed to 2000 Yen in the hotel "convienie". The hotel also has a very nice onsen on site where you can relax at night for a very reasonable price. They have one pool that faces the ocean.
The hotel has 2 pools in indoor and 1 outdoor. Both are very clean. I do recommend the outdoors pool since the air inside isn't so well circulated. So bring your swimsuits and goggle and have a great relaxing holiday!

Room Tip: maybe requesting seaview and rooms closer to the elevators as the property is quite big and it may b...

1.Nice view and beach! It's a good place to relax.
2.There was NO Wifi inside the room, and the internet (a little bit slow) could only be available in the lobby......so just forget your works and let it be, haha!
