In terms of size and scale, this one is not the biggest I have seen. I have been to the aquarium in Atlanta, GA, which is huge. However, this one by far, has the best and most beautiful location. The beauty of the ocean is simply beyond what words can describe!! For those who are not interested in visiting the aquarium itself, take a stroll outside the expo-park. It is amazing! A great place for families with young children. The dolphin show is free too! One can also see turtles in a pool in the park. The beach/sea shore is a must visit site! However, pick a sunny day to go there. Otherwise, a bad weather can spoil the color of the ocean.....

We went after 4pm for the discounted tickets. There was a huge variety of fishes in the aquarium. I love the touching pond. There are a few sinks and dryers next to it so do not worry. Each tank was accompanied by very informative reading boards about the fish name and origin. The main feature was of course, the huge tank. It was impressively big and it was nice to see the sharks and ocean creatures swim about. However, personally, I felt they look slightly sad swiming in circles. Although huge, it did not seem large enough for all of them. We had a break at the aquarium cafe. The view was great with fishes greeting you as you eat. The food, was mediocre but the mango milk drink was really good. If you like a snack, try the Taco-balls. We had fried rice and taco-rice but they were no good. It was pretty pricey too. I enjoyed the shark museum and the aquarium store.

We only decided to visit this aquarium as a spur of the moment decison while driving along the coastline. This modern aquarium turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. We even managed to be there for the feeding time for the whale sharks which was very impressive indeed. As good as this aquarium is the turtle and manatee pools were old and tired and rather sad places. We bypassed the small looking dolphin display as this also looked to be a bit depressing. Aquarium 5 stars - turtles / manatee pools 1 star.
