The hotel is located near the Ferry terminal with a nice view,... on the Ferry terminal. As always in Hokkaido, the welcome is warm and smiling.
My booking included a traditional Japanese style bedroom with futons, breakfast buffet and dinner which is served rather early (latest 6:54pm). If you like seafood, you won’t be disappointed by the quality and variety of products that they will offer including soups, sashimi, sea urchins, etc.
Unfortunately the bikes which they lend for free are a bit heavy which could be a problem if your ambition was to use them to climb up the mountain. The electrically assisted ones are available for a fee and for maximum one hour and come in limited numbers. There are various trails starting from around the hotel if you feel like going sightseeing. The Onsen located on the ground flour, is worth a visit after a harassing day hiking to get clean and relaxed; hanging out in the hotel wearing the fresh kimono that they put at your disposal.More
