We drove by this place and decided to drop by as we didn't went to the Tomita Melon house.
We ordered the Yubari Melon with mixed ice-cream (vanilla &melon). It cost 2100yen. Is expensive but well , as they say you must try the Yubari melon! Is indeed very soft and different from the normal rockmelom, but I guess we will not order another time. You can drop by this place if you are driving to Biei but not worth just by coming for this.

Saw this place from a guidebook and decided to come here for dessert. We ordered the half melon with melon flavored soft serve. Both the soft serve and melon were really good!

Since it was very popular, we dropped by this place to try the ice cream on top of the melon. Cool, it's nice, something different from the norm. Very tasty and sweet melon and to eat it together with the ice cream, it's awesome. Ample parking space, beside the road, big melon with ice cream symbol. The phone number in the GPS couldn't lead us directly to this shop but we have to look out for the symbol.

Not the best place if it's a long way out, but usually if you're in the Furano area (we did some farm visits and places around), it's a great place to stop by and have some melon ice cream! There are 1-2 more melon ice cream places around the area, but I forgot their names. xD

Not the cheapest range of desserts but worth a try! Had the 1/4 melon + melon ice cream (I LOVE THE MELON FLAVOURED ICE CREAM!). :)

Located in a huge carpark. NOT located obviously along the roadside, so you've gotta look out for the red roofs and giant melon thingo from the main road.

Opens from 9AM - 5PM, but best bet to visit before 4.30PM as they start to close its doors at 4.30~4.45PM.
