Its a bonus to find a stream or dam further down the end of blue pond. We got down and get our feet wet. The view down the stream has a picturisque back drop with snow cap mountains....

Had high expectation on this pond but was a bit disappointed when we reached there. The pond looked more green than blue and was quite far off from what we saw from pictures in the internet. Nevertheless, the place is quiet and the walk to the pond was nice.

We went there early Fall...and the harmony between the green trees and the blue pond against the blueish background of the sky was something to stay there and contemplate... and then you see several dead trees coming up from the blue waters and reflecting their images on the peaceful pond waters. It was a beautiful place to click pause. Dont rush through...take your time and suck in the scenary and atmosphere. I might be wrong, but I did not see any toilet or eating place. Free parking is available. We tried to use a phone number for the GPS destination, but it did not work well, but keep eyes on the road signs (picture of the pond), if you cant read, like me, lol. The access road and car parking are unsealed, but covered with small crushed rocks, then a short walk and you will see the pond. Enjoy your time there!

The water is like most glacier melt water that causes the water to turn blue due to the particles in it. There is an art to photographing this pond. More trees or less ??.

Beautiful place... spent some time there just walking around the pond and taking photos. Enjoyed the serenity of the place.
