“Too touristy”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

I was put off by the price and it was too touristy. As in the BBC Archer's farming soap clearly this was one of Brian's commercial ideas to milk the towny punters. There is a gem of a photo in the gents toilet door of how not to misuse western toilets by standing on them backwards and squatting. A variation on the correct use of elephant feet toilets.

“beautiful & colorful flower patches”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

the whole hill slopes is filled with colorful flower patches, creating beautiful rainbow color slopes, with the view of greenery at the background faraway, the view was astounding. The slopes is rather steep & slippery if raining so do take caution when walking around. There're tourist trucks available as well that bring you around the slopes for viewing . There's also clear sign board bearing the flower's name & type for tourist to see, great place for flowers viewing

“Smaller Farm in Biei”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

On the way to Biei, it was worthwhile to stop and visit Shikisainooka, a Farm of similar nature to Tomita but of a smaller scale and less crowded. It carried a different variety of flowers on its slopes such as Sunflowers, Lupinus and Sarubia and housed a number of llamas. To our surprise, a fox was spotted among the rows of flowers and precious pictures were captured. From there one could also get a good view of patchwork across the fields.

On our way back on the scenic drive in the Furano / Biei area, we caught a glimpse of the fascinating golden-red sunset and the various fantastic cloud formation in the crimson sky - a bonus to us !

“See thousand miles of flowers and villages”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

It was up the mountain, view to the valleys and villages are unblocked!!
A wide open field of flowers. Less commercialized tourists so you could take your time to enjoy the bloom.

“Nice scenery”
Reviewed May 26, 2012 via mobile

Nice scenery around the flower farm and they sell potatoes and onions at the entrance. Very nice backdrop with the surrounding mountains with the flowers in front of u.

Two foxes caged near the toilet entrance and they smell!
