It is one of the nicest onsen hotel in Hokkaido.
The outdoor pool offers a fantastic view especially when the snow flying down from the trees. And the hotel pampered every guest with the branded shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion etc in the room & at the hot spring.

Location is a bit far off, so best to have a car or else the hotel provides shuttle services.

Very beautiful hotel setting - our room has an awesome view of the autumn foliage and Mount Komagatake. The onsen was amazing too. Great place to relax and unwind.

we were greeted with floor amazing autumn colours as soon as you step into lift, corridor, bedroom overlooking Mt Komagatake, enjoy breakfast (freshly baked croissants!!) with mountain views and onsen facing reflective pond - such a relaxing experience.
You just HAVE to stay for a night, or two ......

Minor inconvenience - not enough stalls for washing as spa was so popular, and a group of loud ladies cut queues whilst the rest of us (and many local Japanese) waited. Quite an unpleasant experience

The room was large but average, with dim yellow lighting that is not great for reading. However, it was a nice and quiet location, with trees and ponds around the hotel which created a relaxing atmosphere. There was a good selection of Western and Japanese options at the breakfast buffet table.

We dined at the hotel restaurant which was also rather average. During check in, we were informed that the earliest we could reserve a table would be 8.10pm. We had to wait a short while for a table and despite ordering quickly, did not get our food until about 9.00pm. The soup and salad were quite ordinary and the Onuma local hamburg and beef steak were tasty but nothing particularly impressive.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

This hotel is inside a forest reserve. The reception is very good as the helpful staff come out to assist us with the luggage and give us good information on morning market and where to see the sakura flower. The onsen ( hot spring) is very relaxing with nice pond view and very quiet and peaceful time to relax just left I g there
