Small restaurant in a remote location,
But WOW. the food was amazing. and when paired with great service and value, this restaurant is worth trying.

The Duck Confit was so succulent,
The freshly squeezed lemonade was something i would buy time after time,
all the appetizers were delicious
the Burger was enormous
the Fries were better than most i've ever tried.

The service always excellent here, the food is very tasty. The portions are good for the value. They are good at making recommendations and accommodating some of the fussy eaters that came with us. They always have unique items on the specials of the day as we'll as their main menu. We also love that you can bring a bottle of local wine without a corkage fee for the 1st bottle. This is especially nice since it's so close to so many good wineries.

My friend and I first visited Tawse Winery which is about 1.5K up the road and stopped in on our way back to Jordan Station. We took in a bottle of wine, no corkage fee, and ordered the mussels, the roasted vegetable salad, and the special desert, lemon cake with lemon curd. Everything was excellent and the two girls who both took care of us were great, very sweet and friendly besides efficient. Would love to go back if it wasn't so far from West Virginia!

I had heard about this place from people, but had never bothered to try it...what a shame! The menu is limited, and you have to go up to the counter to place your order, but the staff is so nice, it isn't a big deal. I had the most delicious Spinach Salad ever, and my friend also. We also enjoyed a locally brewed beer, and overall, it was one of the nicest lunches I have ever had. I will definitely return!

We have been going there very frequently since the restaurant opened. We keep going back because the food is outstanding and very reasonable. The bring your own bottle of wine in policy puts About Thyme over the top for us!!!!
The staff are such a delight because we can joke and have many laughs.
We have brought many friends and family to their delight, so please don't bring too many people to the restaurant because we would still like to get a table. Ha ha.
