My wife and I went to Boot Street Bistro last Saturday night for the first time. It is a lovely local restaurant serving modern Australian/ French fare. The restaurant was well patronised. It was warm in comfort and ambiance. The wait staff were attentive but very rushed which took a little off the experience.
The food was pleasant but lacked any wow factor! All in all a good local restaurant with a respectable wine list from Australia and France.

This classy café/restaurant has a nice ambience for brunch. Busy, but not so crowded that you don't have personal space. Good for groups of four or more and spacious tables in booths for reading the paper. Service was friendly and very good despite the crowd. My corn fritters with avocado, poached egg, rocket and relish were delicious and filling. The side order of spinach was generous and nicely cooked. Good coffee. Gluten free options. Outdoor seating - wooden tables and long benches - good for big groups or dog owners. Rugs available for people (BYO dog blanket).

The food was delicious, service was ok. Nearly gave us the wrong meal.
The staff were a little over the top attentive gave us the table we requested by the window but then displayed a miffed attitude when we decided not to stay for dessert, I had a bad headache and the music was too loud.
Overall the food is good but the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable.
