“Great food, great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

This is a great place to stop on the Cabot Trail for meal. If you are not looking for it you won't see it, you have to drive back past the lighthouse to get there. It sits overlooking the cove at Neil's Harbor. It is a fantastic view and the food is also excellent. We were there on a stormy day and the ocean put on a great show for us. We had the seafood chowder and clam chowder and both were excellent. Unfortunately, we were too late for the Snow crab and corn chowder, so it must be excellent also. Also had Lobster roll and fish and chips. Both were also excellent and plenty of food. I could have just gotten the one piece fish and chips with the chowder. No room for dessert. Service was also very good and friendly. Would definitely stop here again.

“Gorgeous views and delicious mussels”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

This was a classic chowder and seafood place. Stick with the less is more approach and you can't go wrong. We loved the chowder, the mussels and the boiled lobster, but the fried stuff was too doughy and not as good.
