I stayed here with my partner last year for a week. We had to do a bit of researching to find this place as its not in any of the brochures - off the 'tourist trail' so to speak.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. A pretty, quaint marina with the usual shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. There are 2 beautiful beaches as well with beach bars etc.
There is a craft market in the marina on a Thursday, and if you fancy a stroll - the villages of Duquesa and Sabinillas are just next door.
We took a day trip to Benalmadena and hit the waterpark, and also visited the town of Estepona (there is a great market there!)
The boat itself was lovely. Its a traditional motor yacht moored in a quiet part of the marina. Me and my partner work long hours and there was nothing like arriving, dumping our bags and just chilling out on the deck in the early evening with a glass of something cold and bubbly!!
Overall the boat was spotlessly clean and hosts Garry and Denise were really helpful, informative and couldn't do enough to assist us. We had a great time and will definitely be looking to return either this year or next.
