Soba was fresh, sauce was good. Sake selection here is also good. The tempura is very light and not oily. I highly recommend stopping here at least once in this area.

Saw a long line of people queuing outside and can easily wait over 30 mins during lunch or dinner. One of the best soba and udon I have ever tasted.

Recommend to come during non rush hour like 4 or 5 pm to avoid the queue.

The cold soba and their tempura are great!!!

Worth the wait in line.

If you like Japanese soba, this is the place. People order soba that comes in trey!!! A la Dante with soba bean delicate taste. The dip is very aroma with just perfect level of salty taste. The tempura batter was just right with crispy and fresh taste of vegetables. It would be best if you don't come at peak hours (lunch) because you might be the 15th in line waiting for the table. Try to come during off hour to avoid the wait.

This place is a great stopping ground before going further west on a train ride. One of the larger towns before you go deeper into the country.

Food - 4
The soba is one point and the ale dente of the soba is perfect. Even though the order of soba May look larger, believe me, you can finish the meal. Don’t forget to get some local sake with your meal.

Service - 3
Not the best and the older women working here don’t care if you’re a local or an tourist. Eat and get our is their thoughts.

Atmosphere - 3
Nothing special. Reminds me of a bus stop cafeteria with a little bit of flare.

Will return it I’m in this town.

It is a popular spot conveniently located on the quieter side of EchigoYuzawa station. Tried the cold soba with a selection of tempura. Was very filling and you should try one of the many Sakes on selection
