“Ideal place to stay for business or pleasure just outside Milano centre”
Reviewed October 17, 2011

We stayed here whilst working at the exhibition centre in Milano Rho very close by it was just 5 km away from the exhibition centre.
The B&B was a little haven in a charming town called novate milanese where there are plenty of shops and places to eat also lovey just to wonder though the streets of an evening, our apartment was Narcisio ideal for a family or a couple based on the ground floor it was a large studio apartment with a small kitchen, dinning table, ensuite bathroom with a shower hairdryer etc and upto four beds.
The room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels were always available, there was also a stunning courtyard where you could park your car safley and the whole property was closed in by electric gates.
The only thing that i was not impressed with was the breakfast which you had to get from a vending machine and there was not much choice, i would have prefered a buffet breakfast and i heard a group of American guest's commenting also on this.
Over all i would reccomend a stay at this charming B&B the price is very conviente for Milano and i will be booking again on my next trip.

The only real negative is the distance from the centre of Milan. The train from the city to the B&B takes about half an hour and is relatively infrequent; and the ticket does not include the metro. The last train is at 23.15, so that you may need to catch a taxi, which costs about 26 euro. Yet Novate Milanese itself is a beautiful little area with friendly and gregarious people. The rooms are very spacious, well stocked and authentically decorated. The bathroom was large and clean. The owner of the B&B was very friendly; he was pleased to give us directions and recommend places to visit. This was the most charming and best value of the hotels we visited. I would return without hesitation. It felt like living in the Italian country side not 30 minutes from the city centre.

An excellent place to stay, a beautifully rustic villa that has its own courtyard, so the property is extremely safe and homely as soon as you arrive. We were five girls on holiday together, but the villa made us feel really safe and comfortable. Literally steps away from the train station which is incredibly convenient to get into the centre of Milan. Little supermarket couple doors down. Novate Milanese is a lovely little place to stay, lots of character and an excellent ice cream place (which was went to nearly everyday! definitely a must if you come). The rooms were just so tidy and clean for such a bargain price, practically everything is provided for you, we stayed in the 'Iris' flat. Our bathroom was really modern, great shower. Our host Franco was incredibly friendly, made us feel very welcome and was very helpful with everything; from advising us about transport, to all the local attractions. They did everything to make us enjoy our trip. Such a lovely stay, I look forward to possibly staying again in the future!

Room Tip: All the flats are in their own courtyard. Due to the month we stayed, our host allowed us access to...

At first, this is not a hotel and you don't find traditional hotel services in Antica Corte Milanese. It is an old bannister house build to an accommodation unit with some rooms and apartments.

The location is very good. It takes only about 15 minutes by local train to the very heart of Milan. Novete Milanese is an independent municipality or town about 10 kms north of Milano. It is not a sleeping suburb, but a small town with a lot of local services like shops and restaurants.

I stayed in an apartment (Hortensia) with one bedroom, combined kitchen and livingroom, and bathroom. It is very spacious and airy. The furniture is rustique and oldish (not antique), but nice like in the house of your grand parents.

Antica Corte Milanese is an ideal place to stay for people who want to explore Milan and its surroundings. The Lake Area is about 45 minutes drive from Novete Milanese.

We found this place with HomeAway website. After a few emails exchanges, we decided to rent this apartment. We are from Canada and it was scary, to rent something so far away. When we arrived, we found this place exactly as it is described on their website and HomeAway website. This is great location. It is close to everything We were not that lucky with a weather, so the apartment was not so worm in the beginning, but after we had no problems. We had a great time staying there. The only thing I would say was not that great, it was WI-FI. It was not working sometimes when we needed. Everything else, such as cleanness, serves, and people who run it, were very good. We will be back in Milan, every spring and plan to rent it again. I would recommend it to everyone.

I have stayed here on two occasions and would highly recommend it, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are clean, well equipped, and serviced daily, you will also have the use of secure parking which is hard to find in Milan. There is also ample shops, restaurants, bars and cash machines in the area, and my favorites are the family run bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner, the grocery shop two doors down is also very handy. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Milan in September.

We found Antica Corte to be wonderfully located .. easy walk to Train Station, 15 min ride to the centre of Milan. The owners, Beatrice and Marco are fantastic people--really warm. The suite we stayed in was huge with a furnished kitchen area and small "dining" table. Bathrooms were modern.
Novate Milanese makes for a nice home base -- we stayed 6 nights. The town can be quiet at night .. we enjoyed it because it is a small, quiet town. Got to know the local shop owners (ate ice cream at the gelateria almost every night!). People were friendly.
