Fantastic value for money. Yes rooms where a bit on the small side, however this was easily made up by the fantastic variety and quantity of food and drink available. Fantastic staff, extremely helpful. Added to this the snow conditions were perfect. Les Arcs 2000 is a great ski area and I would thoroughly recommend Club Med. The whole package was a great experience. Take advantage of the Ski School. The instructors are very patient and have an in depth knowledge of the area. They are more like Ski Guides and will take you to all the best ski areas. Don't be afraid to try the Aguilla Rouge. Stunning views and incredible skiing. Will definitely return next year.

If you're looking for a really good all inclusive skiing holiday without having to spend out on much else other than ski & or boot hire then I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.
The staff are excellent, spontaneously helpful, cheerful and with apparently boundless energy. The food is excellent with quantity quality and variety in abundance. The inclusive bar is much the same with a wide range of cocktails and drinks available. There is plenty of skiing at les Arcs for all but the most extreme skiiers for a week and for all levels there is ample opportunity to take advantage of the inclusive ESF tuition that is available on a group basis even if just used as on an area guide basis. All in all, we had a hoot ! Well done team Club Med! John & Joanne Christchurch UK

We stayed in Arcs Extreme over Christmas and over all had an enjoyable holiday.

However this was spoilt afterwards by a problem with the shop there which they have yet to resolve. I was told that payment for a particular purchase had not gone through at the time and therefore I didn't take the goods. On our return to the UK, it showed up in our statement as having been paid. Despite many phone calls trying to get it resolved, and an email from the shop confirming that they owed a refund, they have done nothing to pay the money back.

This situation was very disappointing and will make us consider carefully whether we want to go back at all.

This was our 3rd experience of Club Med having been to the 4* Club Med Cervinia for the past 2 years. We like Club Med for the all-inclusive plan, the food and the skiing for our 17year old daughter who finds us too slow and boring. We'd certainly go back though we do have some criticisms which could be so easy to remedy if the management would take them on board.
Rooms
Are fine - nothing special but the showers are very powerful and the beds comfortable. Housekeeping is excellent and the rooms are kept very clean. Just make sure that you figure out how to get the heater on in the evenings as it will be freezing otherwise!
Food
Is excellent and just as good as in Cervinia. If you like tea for breakfast make sure you ask for English Breakfast tea bags and put a few away for tea in the evening.
Bar
Is terrible. The service is painfully slow, the organisation and layout leaves alot to be desired with tea and cakes. One of the barmen is particularly slow and can also be downright rude - generally to men rather than women it has to be said. We did speak to the GM about it and it appeared to improve on the last night but I'm not sure whether it was what we said or the fact that most people were packing rather than drinking before dinner.
Public areas
With a small amount of reorganisation it could all be so much better. Tea and cakes get tied up with pancake cooking, hors d'oevres with the live music and the shop's special offers with access to the public areas - at one point you had to duck under t-shirts hanging from the ceiling to get to the theatre area.
Entertainment
I have no idea - its not our cup of tea at all and we stayed away.
Ski Instructor
My daughter very much enjoyed her group and got some very good tuition. Our friends had a slightly more mixed experience - par for the course I guess with ESF.
General Management/ambience
This Club Med didn't have the ambience created in Cervinia by the manager and his staff - it was all a bit more dour and lacking in warmth - possibly because we struggled to get a drink! However we really enjoyed the fact that there was always somewhere to sit and NO small children running around.
Les Arcs Skiing
Was every bit as good as I hoped it would be - fantasically well signposted, long runs, some challenging blacks but with soft snow so very doable and very few queues. We loved it!

This was a massive holiday for us, taking both kids and skiing for a week is not a cheap deal wherever you go, but Club Med was great value for money. As in lots of previous reviews the hotel itself does look tired and could do with a refurb (lose carpet on some of the stairs is a major hazard surely) but the hotel isn't why you're there, its for the skiing and the food. The rooms were comfy and clean and there was always lots of hot water. The restaurant however, was fantastic. The choice and quality of food was the best we've ever had anywhere, particularly New Years Eve dinner and the quantity throughout the day meant we put on weight and didn't lose any despite all the exercise. The kids in particular liked the pancakes at 4pm coming off the slopes.
Minor gripes, the people serving behind the bar clearly weren't trained bar staff didn't know what white rum was....and the Teenage kids club was a bit too full on for ours, they ran away from the overpowering pressure to join in shows and games that weren't really for them. There ought to be an option to join the Passworld without having the pressure to join in everything. But apart from that it was an excellent stay and would certainly recommend Club Med to anyone wanting a skiing holiday with kids. We worked out what it would have cost to go to Les Arcs self catering and it would have been far more. All Inclusive at Club Med is the way to go!!!
Now the skiing......AMAZING!!! the snow was perfect and the sun shone (one day of cloud and snow but that just gave us more powder!). The slopes are great for beginners and experienced skiers and the inclusive lessons with Club Med were brilliant. You could dip in and out as you wished and they were good at matching abilities in classes. I can't rate it highly enough and would go back in a flash!!! Well done Club Med a little food for thought regards state of the hotel and bar service but otherwise you do a great job! We'll be saving to come again!!!!

We as a family (kids 13 & 20) had a fantastic stay here over Christmas week. The food was excellent with plenty of choice and the pastry chefs for me were exceptional. The macaroons were delicious :). Christmas Eve dinner was amazing.
This was our 8th club med ski holiday and was probably the best despite it being 3 tridents. I feel it out did Tignes 4 trident rating! Maybe this was helped by there not being so many little kids around because there were no kids club for under 12. Also there were a lot more British there than we normally see.
The skiing is great with excellent instructors- Piccou was lovely. The G.O's made a lot of effort with welcoming you at all times and being friendly and helpful. The bar and theatre area was very comfortable with an amazing view to Mont Blanc. The rooms are basic but fine as they were clean and warm with the added bonus of a tv with BBC 1&2!
So in summary go and enjoy yourselves! I will definitely return :)

Room Tip: Would try to avoid being too high up just to avoid the lifts in the morning when everyone is off to...
