Don't fall for the modern interior and the crowd. The restaurant is full of young boys that eat burgers! It is expensive for the food. Everything is frozen, pre-prepared sodium loaded ingredients.

One advice: don't go!!

Eight months on since the last review and it seems nothing has changed. Unfortunately we hadn't read the reviews before we went. We should have worried when the waiter offered us a free carafe of wine before we had ordered the food. When the food did arrive 5 out of 13 had Chicken dishes and the food was raw and inedible. The service was dreadful with clearly not enough staff to cater for the people using this restaurant. I pity the clients who had to use this restaurant which was their half board dining option. The manager didn’t seem too worried about the complaints coming his way as it looked as if it was a usual occurrence. We left the restaurant with 2 other clients who equally had bad experiences at the restaurant. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from so my advice would be to try them before going any where near this restaurant.

I visited this six years ago when the 1950 village opened and was so unimpressed that haven't been back since despite being an owner in the village and visiting the village four weeks a year. My children talked me into a return visit. Way way over priced menu. Staff didn't know how to respond when we criticised a dish - supposedly melted cheese but in fact sauce squirted from a bottle. Prices are too high - borne out by the restaurant being less than half full. The staff did respond to our complaint and gave us a starter free - but it could be so so much better if they got out of the idea of how to charge as much as possible to a half empty restaurant and thought about a menu and service and quality offering that attracted families.
Last year an enterprising South African set up a barbecue sort of restaurant opposite on a one year lease which was really great - twice the quality and half the price. Why not learn from that?

Don't go to this so called Mexican restaurant. This is probably the worst restaurant I have been to in the last 40 years. All ingredients are straight out of a can and into the microwave. There was nothing fresh and no proper cooking at all.

My daughter's starter, lovingly described on the menu was a bag of tortilla crisps served on a wooden board with an eggcup full of guacamole freshly squirted from a catering size squeezy bottle.

More horrors followed including ghastly cheeseburger and chips (22 Euros anyone?) and fajitas with a few pieces of chicken floating in a bed of canned peppers (no sign of the advertised cheese and onions. The wraps were left in the microwave too long and were like eating cardboard. Another eggcup of guacamole and we wondered how long it was since this restaurant had seen an avocado.

To be fair the very nice French waiter did smile and chuckle when he agreed that there was no way he would eat any of this stuff.

I hope the owner's pet rabbit dies and he can't sell the hutch! Give it a miss.
