A very beautiful and peaceful place. Loved the design and layout of the bungalows and the Main Lodge. Lots of space in the rooms and a large verandah from which to watch the monkeys. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. The exciting and apprehensive gathering first thing in the morning whilst sipping a quick cup of tea before being wrapped in blankets and snuggling up to hot water bottles and then that amazing half hour drive through tiny villages to the gate of the Game Reserve. What better way to end a long day's safari than to gather in the main lodge next to a blazing fire and exchange tiger tales with fellow guests. I just loved the whole experience. Our driver Mamesh was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an incredible tiger encounter. We had 2 sightings in 2 days and felt very privileged. He also had an excellent sense of humour!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and congratulate all the staff on such excellent service and for having created a very special place - thank you!
Just one very mini complaint - the excellent picnic breakfast in the Game Reserve would be so much better if the tea wasn't served in plastic cups!!!!! Although I do appreciate that due to the bumpy roads, there would be an awful lot of breakages!!!

Silvery Mornings and Serene days at its best are witnessed at this little jungly paradise - Kanha Earth Lodge is a great little surprise in the middle of real India – where India and nature are as real as it gets.

The lodge maintains the highest standards in cleanliness, service, food and providing a whole new experience to its guests tempting them to return as soon as they can.

My first experience in the jungles was made all the more special with the kind of quality experience that I was given by Kanha Earth Lodge, be it the beautiful design of the lodge, its structure, layout, interiors and furniture or the most delectable food to the nice jeeps with hot water bottles and life saving blankets on the vehicle for the early morning starts. The management thinks of its guest’s comfort and convenience at every step.

The lodge is comparable to any five star property and hospitality at its friendly best.

I will be back soon with my family ☺

After 4 weeks of touring in India, our last nights were at Kanha Earth Lodge. After being in the 'big cities', this setting near a remote village is ideal for unwinding. Our room and the main lodge were modern, clean and comfortable- neat shower w/ lots of hot water. Food is geared to individual tastes - from spicy Indian to conventional European - presented beautifully and tasty. Naturalists from the lodge are extremely knowledgeable and endeavored to find tigers (we saw 3 in 2 days) as well as owls, a barking deer and an orange tree frog. After our day in the jeep we refreshed in the pool - perfect. The general manager - Ashwani - has a staff of friendly, courteous young men. It was a perfect ending to an amazing holiday.

Kanha Earth Lodge is a superb resort just 30 minutes drive from the entrance to Kanha National Park. We had great naturalists/drivers and local guides who provided great expertise during the game drives and over 2 days we had a rare sighting of a leopard and also a family of Sloth Bears.
We unfortunately missed a really excellent sighting of a tiger, seen by other guests.
The staff at the Lodge are very attentive and the food was excellent. The facilities at the Lodge, including a lovely swimming pool, are excellent. Unfortunately we were so busy with the game drives that we didn't really have time to enjoy these facilities.
Thank you for a really memorable few days at Kanha Earth Lodge.

Very clean, comfortable lodge, where each bungalow is apart from the others so you can have total privacy. The food is always good and tasty. But what will remain in my mind, apart my first sight of a tiger during 8 minutes, is how all the staff is kind and attentive. Impossible to find a bettrer service.

The lodge is located away from the hustle and bustle of the little towns around in a jungle like area. Each room is a free standing structure around 20-30 meters apart giving great privacy. When we got there, there were monkeys on the tree next to our room, but they never hassled us or came into the room.

The rooms (more like mini-units) are beautifully fit-out. The primarily rock and wood structure is has been designed with style. The room had 2 toilets and a shower that was, once again beautifully designed. It had ample room for luggage, away from the main bed room, which made the bedroom more comfortable.

However, the highlight of this place is the service. We had just come from the TreeHouse in Bandhavgarh which belongs to the same company. It is clear that may of the driving concepts were similar in the service and operation. Some of these were the hot water bottles for the safaris, the magic face wipes, the home-made lemonade at the end of the morning safaris. I particularly support their policy of working with the local communities.

The complex has a great pool which is open to the jungle on one side! Unfortunately we were there in January and so it was too cold to use. There were several barbecue areas and patios which I'm sure come in use in summer.

The management are clearly out to give you the best wild life experience possible.

Thanks to the whole team.
