“Lovely cottage for two!”
Reviewed March 17, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Just returned from 3 night break and could not be happier with standard of accommodation very clean with lots of thoughtful touches including welcome goodies that were much appreciated. Owner very helpful and friendly on hand if you needed help but left us to enjoy our break. Enjoyed having outside space to sit really peaceful and a sun trap especially to enjoy a sundowner or two. Lots to see and do in the area and cottage very well situated. Hope to return in future

Absolutely brilliant. Great location - walkable to Lyme Regis and all facilities but in a quiet lane tucked away. Short drive from Axminster and Seaton. Ideal Jurassic coast location. Lovely cottage, fully stocked with all kitchen utensils and cleaning products, dvds, books and cds. Good wifi. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower room. Very clean (almost like new) and beautifully presented. Rosemary was a fantastic host with a wealth of local knowledge and the welcome pack was very tasty. We will definitely be returning.

“Perfect Romantic and Relaxing Getaway!”
Reviewed January 3, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We stayed at Little Roost over New Year, looking for some "chill out" time after the Christmas festivities. It was a lovely location, very cosy, comfortable and close to local attractions. Absolutely everything we needed was in the cottage - perfect in every way. We felt completely relaxed, with batteries fully recharged by the end of our stay. Ideal location for River Cottage HQ, where we sampled their amazing Midwinter Feast. We hope to return to try out the local walks when the rain has stopped!

Reviewed November 20, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

My husband and I stayed at Little Roost for just 3 nights and we so wished it had been for longer! The property is just lovely; clean, tidy, cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Located down a quiet country lane with a wonderful walk across footpaths and fields down into the town. We did the walk 5 times! The welcome bits which Rosemary personalises is a really lovely touch. We will definitely book again.

Hi Zoe - so glad you enjoyed your stay. I really love that riverside walk leading to Lyme Regis and the sea. It's a fab way to see the local countryside, leaving your car behind. Hope to see you again sometime. best wishes, Rosemary H - owner, Little Roost at Uplyme
