Been to this hotel 5 times. Doesn't get any better.
Why do we go back? Family birthdays as it has a childrens playroom.
Had the special of half a lobster (crayfish) plus asian style beef.
Well the six ordered came out undercooked, ie raw lobster.
Two replacement lobsters came out still undercooked so we opted for alternative meals. My alternative garlick prawns were very nice but at $26 for 8 prawns and a cup of rice with garlic sauce and salad was overpriced. Flathead in batter saw dry overcooked fish that was tasteless.
Caesar salad with grilled chicken was ok as was the veal scallopini. We were offered complimentary drinks.
Have had undercooked chicken, fatty over sauced pork chop, dry fish in the past.
This hotel i part of a chain and quality is non existent. Table was sticky, the staff were good this time but have been largely absent in the past. Tables are not cleared or cleaned.
Carpet is filthy. Hopefully won't be back.

“Enjoyable for adults and children alike”

The Boundary Bistro is in a hotel that is owned by a division of the Australian-owned Woolworths supermarket chain (which trades as Safeway in Victoria but Woolworths elsewhere.)

The Bistro is deservedly popular, and not surprisingly seems busiest on Friday nights that are not school holidays.

The menu has a wide variety, with my children particularly liking the seafood platter and spaghetti bolongnaise.

Prices are reasonable. The staff give out coupons for a free child's drink, a good marketing ploy.
