We totally agree with other Tripadvisor reviewers that Tigh Na Leigh is a wonderful place to stay.
The house, which is very spacious, has been beautifully redesigned and modernised by Bettina and Chris to ensure abosute comfort for guests. We were welcomed and treated by Bettina and Chris, as if we were old friends, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had a very sucessful stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the superb food we ate, all of which was beautifully presented, most of which was sourced locally.
Perthshire is a lovely gem of a county to visit, with beautiful scenery, uncrowded roads and everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful in aiding us in tracing our ancestors.
The Folk Museum at Glamis (just outside the gates of the castle) is a must to visit - this Scottish National Trust museum is a row of terraced cottages furnished to show the old village life.
We would highly recommend Perthshire as a place to visit and Tigh Na Leigh as a place to stay.
