Tigh Na leigh is just as everyone else says - high level of comfort in huge beds, very contemporary interior, great food - and a funny cat that likes to sit on the chairs in the dining room. Completely friendly moggy though so no worries there. Bettina is a great host and keeps a great Guest House, certainly worth a visit if you are looking for a relaxing stay which is within driving distance of a number of attractions. We visited Blair Castle and got there easily in 50 minutes.
The only negative is Alyth itself. A good place if you like local wildlife, the two legged variety that is. Best I could get on a late arrival was a bag of chips, from a chippie that closes at 9.30pm! Best to do is book oyur food at the Guest House as it is all home made and very good quality at reasonable prices.
All in all, a great place, handy location, with very friendly owners. Recommended.

Room Tip: they're all good.

Found this lovely guest house one Friday afternoon looking for somewhere to go for a weekend away and we have never looked back we have stayed 9 times now all the rooms are amazing comfy and very relaxing and for the jacuzzi baths out of this world. The guest house sits on the main road but you dont hear any traffic at all. Chris and Bettina are amazing hosts and make you feal at home bend over backwards to help you in any way. And the food fantastic thankyou Chris and Bettina we'll be back soon.

This guest house is the best place we've ever stayed in. We stayed in the 4 poster bedroom...the bed is enormous and so comfy! Also, the room has a nice side window with a lovely view out onto the garden. The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath with plenty of room for 2 people. The couple who own this place made us feel very welcome and were very accomodating...they offered to make us anything we like for breakfast. We ate out in Blairgowrie so cannot comment on the evening meal but if the breakfast is anything to judge by, the food is very good quality. Good location, this guest house is right next to a bus stop, with a direct bus to Dundee, Blairgowrie, Perth and more. Overall, well worth the 5* rating. We will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: All rooms apparently have a jacuzzi bath but the 4-poster room is fantastic...biggest, comfiest bed ever.

Imposing period building in a nice village which, thankfully is not a tourist trap and full of busloads of daytrippers clogging up the pavements. Area would appeal to walkers as there is a lot of choice nearby. Golf courses are cracking too- I had a jog through them in the morning.
Fully renovated inside with five bedrooms- we took the double room which was cosy and had a sitting area and jacuzzi bath. The other rooms were stunning and very spacious.
Downstairs the food is served in a sunroom looking into the beautifull landscaped garden.
We had the breakfast and optional dinners which included seafood, pheasant and lamb. Very good it was too and nothing was too much trouble to make us feel at home.
Chris and Bettina were very friendly and chatty. Just as well as oor Heather likes a blether.
There is also a TV room with good choice of films, lounge and reading/computer room.
A spot of luxury and a very pleasing stay- good call!

Stayed for 2 night in middle of March for Wife's Birthday and had a simply fantastic stay. We booked the romantic break option , Champagne & Chocolates on arrival. The homemade cooking from Chris was out of this world. Can't recommend highly enough. Will definitely be back soon for more. We stayed in the 4 poster room and it was to a fantastic standard and very spacious. 10/10

Room Tip: 4 poster room looks out onto the main road, but you cannot hear traffic, there is another window which looks out onto the very large garden
