“Brilliant Spot”
Reviewed September 18, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

This little cottage in Alyth is a perfect base of operations for day trips around Scotland. Everything one could possibly need and more. It's a great location, only a short walk to groceries, decent meals out and a couple pubs. Off-street parking, new high end plumbing and kitchen stuff. Full instructions for everything well organized into binders. Wood stove is a real treat.

Didn't want to leave!!!

“Perfect cosy cottage”
Reviewed August 17, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We have just returned from a four-night break at Olive Grove Cottage which is a little gem. It truly is 5-star, warm, comfortable and has everything you need. A real home from home. Alyth is a sweet little town in beautiful countryside and there is a good selection of food stores and places to eat within a short walk. There is a very warm welcome from the owners Alan and Morag.

We recommend this cottage without reservation!!!

“5* home from home accommodation”
Reviewed February 12, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Stayed here whilst visiting family close by and will def return. The weather might have been 0 degrees outside but you wouldn't have known in this cosy cottage. Every little thing has been meticulously thought through. The tissues, cotton wool rolls, robes and even dinner lap trays in the bedroom. The DVD with surround sound and extensive film collection plus amazing wifi. All mod cons in the kitchen plus some very welcome basics like fresh butter, milk and bread. We couldn't find the ironing board whilst staying so sent Alan a text and he promptly replied telling us where it was. Loved it. Thanks again for a stress free stay.

“Fantastic find in lovely location”
Reviewed May 18, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a fantastic weekend in Olive Grove Cottage which has been renovated to a fantastic standard. All the extra touches and attention to detail made it extra special. Great location within the village too. Hope to be back!!

“Scottish Break”
Reviewed January 24, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Just spent a week in olive grove cottage have stayed in a lot of cottages and this one is up there the best it is in a central position in the village but still nice and quiet. Everything in the cottage is first class and kept spotlessly clean by the owners. At the moment their is only 1 pub in the village while the others are being Re-fitted after flood damage should be open soon the one that is open the Losset is a friendly family run pub that serves good home cooked food and is good value.

“Exceeded our expectations”

From the moment we booked the cottage (through a recommendation from a friends daughter), Alan and Morag were very helpful, responded to emails, and helped us gather information as we were travelling from Canada to a place we had never been, and supplied everything they said that they would. Alan and Morag met us at the cottage, which was spotlessly clean and is exactly, if not better, than it appears on the website. They left us a beautiful welcome basket full of bread, coffee, tea, sugar and cake. The cottage is modern inside with all the conveniences but has all the old charm still. The location is great, shops, cafe's, butcher's and fish and chip shop all within a one minute or less walk. Situated next to a river, the cottage is located in a beautiful, quaint little town. Our intent was to travel to different areas, that is why we chose this location and it worked out great. We travelled to Glen Coe, Inverness, Loch Ness, Aberdeen, St. Andrew's and Edinburgh. I would highly recommend Olive Grove Cottage. It was very hard to leave and we hope to be back.
