been to Wasabi tonight, had a lovely meal, our waiter LUKE was so lovely, he made us feel very special, the food was very good, although having eaten in many Japanese, and knowing much about the Japanese food and culture, I feel they could offer a little more in the way of variety, Japanese food is so varied I felt that the menu was a little lacking, having said this it was a lovely night, the service was excellent, the staff very friendly, it was a little strange though sitting with a lot of strangers around the table, our chef was lovely, little noisy as its not a large restaurant and people tend to shout to be heard over the noise, didn't spoil our night though, didn't book in advance but they were able to accommodate us, I would go back again, although not sure I would take my Japanese clients there. On the whole though it was a good night, good for a party of people, a little pricey, but not overly, would be nice to see a few more Japanese in there.

It's a lovely restaurant but quite pricy. The teppanyaki is ok. The sushi was nice and fresh. We went on a Saturday evening around 6:30, by 7:30, the restaurant was full and packed with noisy people. The tables are very close to each other, since after the main course, we we were lead to sit on other table to have our desert, we did not feel too rushy. But we left early because of the noise. As a whole, the restaurant is worth to visit. But we cannot afford to do it too often though!

This is a well oiled machine. You have aprox 1hr 30 at your seat, food is cooked and dished to you at rapid speed, it's taken away even when your nor finished. It's all on a time scale. the same shouts, the same egg game, the same thing for each session. The food is nice but no time to dwell on it. Before you blink they usher you off the table to another where you order more drinks and pay more money. You feel a bit cheated when you leave within 2 hrs if arriving. Recommended for a party night out to start your night if you can afford it.

First time visit to this restaurant and looked forward to it as a birthday treat for my wife. Arrived at 7.45 and it was busy. We were shown to a side table seating 5 although there were 6 of us. We were then moved to the main table and the chef appeared within a couple of minutes. We ordered the Christmas special and the meat special. Started off by trying to putt the egg shell into the waste shute-it was great fun. We had the starters whilst the Fried rice and beansprouts were being prepared followed by fish and meat. The duck, lamb and fillet were excellent, but, the steak was shared between 6 instead of 3 meaning some people got more than the menu stated and some got less. The meal (starter and main course) lasted little over an hour and from our starter until dessert finished it was around 1hr 20mins. Although the food was tasty it was too rushed and for £35 pp a bit steep (food only). Realise it was the Christmas menu and a friday night but expected more. Overall, the food was really tasty, but, there are better value for money choices available locally and the chef needs to remember what plate the food goes on.
