I've stayed at Bushwise twice now, both times letting them organise activities. The lodge itself is very attractive, with a stunning bar overlooking the Crocodile River, and very pleasant bedrooms, (although I've not spend a whole lot of time in them) For the first trip, transfers were organised for us and went very smoothly, despite delays on our side. Mwals at the lodge, often taken outside around a fire, were delicous. Breakfasts were generally taken in the park but on our last day we ate at the lodge and then got to see the food scraps being fed to the local warthogs which was a much closer encounter with nature than we'd expected to have. The activities, which obviously focous on Kruger, were well run with knowlegeable guides and uncrowded vehicles, lots of time was given over to taking photographs and just stopping and watching the wildlife.
My second trip came about as I had a free weekend in the region. Tim and Annette were very good at answering email queries beforehand and providing me with directions, and again I had a great time, and got some more great photographs. Should I find myself in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back & can't recommend the place highly enough.More
