Had a wonderful experience with Tony and Daniella. We felt like we were visiting friends. Very friendly and helpful. The home cooked meals were excellent.
Thank you for making our honeymoon memorable.

Travelled 4 hrs from JNB airport to Nelspruit by Citybug and Another 45 mins to the lodge by Tony, our host. Very nice, clean and comfortable room. The place has a home and nature feel. I have asked Tony and Danielle for safari tours, in which they have 4 days 3 nights package, however, I was only able to stay for 3 days 2 nights, Tony and Danielle were kind to design a package for me. As soon as we arrived, went to sunset safari in Marloth area on safari vehicle from the lodge, got to see zebras, giraffes, Impalas and group of elephants by the river. Had a home cooked meal at the lodge and joined the night safari in Kruger national park, 15-20 mins from the lodge. Got to see group of lions up close.
The next day, joined the full day safari tour in Kruger, saw the big 4+1, buffalo, rhino, elephant and buffalo. Didnt get to see any leopards but got to see cheetahs and the cubs. Had a relaxing evening, where wild pigs and monkeys visited the lawn where we sat. Then, the morning tour by the hosts before heading back to JNB, saw wild dogs and hyenas.
I dont feel the need to stay in the kruger park, as the lodge is within the good proximity to the park, with a more reasonable price and experience around the park.
Very good safari experience and great accommodation with very friendly hosts.
Highly recommended!!

This was for sure the best option to stay near kruger! The hotel is located at marloth park, also a natural reserve with wild animals!

Maggie (manager) helped us a lot to organize our activities during our stay!!!! She quickly answered all my questions and made the difference!

Hopefully comming back to visit Turaco soon!!!!

I had again an outstanding luxuray stay in this Lodge. The rooms are very nice and clean. Especially the personally sevice of the owners and the stuff is really a kind of luxuray. To mention is the high quality food at breakfast and dinner. Every breakfast and meal is always fresh cooked and nice served by the owner Danielle Hayman. Is is really more than traditional south african food. If you want to explore South Africa from his best side I recommand it to do it from this beautiful place.
