Great location, surrounded by beautiful greens. If you're looking for a romantic weekend, a holiday with the family, or some time to relax: Breadsall has it all. Lovely location, good food, very nice swimming pool, spacious bedrooms and great views over the gardens and two golf greens. We will definitely visit the Breadsall Priory again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view over the gardens/ fountain

.........a bit let down by small things. Lovely setting with atmosphere of a relaxed country club in the middle of a golf course and generally good food too. Room (very large) decorative state below average for this price range but excellent if the place was a mid range B&B. So marked wall paper beginning to peel at the joins is unacceptable and so is restricted hanging space. Paintwork not first class and badly repaired damaged ceiling unsightly.
No air conditioning and outside terraces are without sunshades which is a real pity. Bars seemed to carry a restricted range of spirits and the right type of glasses. Everything was there for breakfast but preparation laced finesse. Not sure how you get bacon to look so unappetising.
Cheerful and very pleasant staff. We really enjoyed our stay and most of these small things could easily be put right.

Room Tip: Go and look first.

We stopped at this great hotel in march so this was our second visit. This time the weather was fabulous! We travelled to watch Notts play Derbyshire at the County Ground in the T20. The hotel was as good if not better than last time. We had a Junior Suite again but this time Room 303. Everything was perfect for me and my lad and we even ordered room service which was spot on. Ok as I said before it is on the expensive side but hey well worth every penny. Try breakfast and the spa. These are a must. Roll on next time!

We stayed for 5 nights while touring the Peak District. One of the best Marriott hotels we have stayed in. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. Would always stay here if in the area.

Spent two nights here on our way from Belgium to northern Wales. Wow!

Hotel is lovely and well kept. Grounds (a golf course) are immaculate. Great bar/resto near the pool, and great restaurant on the other side of the place.

I played the Priory course, not to be missed if you golf. 25 GBP for the round booked on line, no idea of cost at the desk.

Pool was a bit difficult for my son, as they had adults-only time from 1200-1300, then pool exercises from 1300-1400, then half was closed for lap swim. He had a great time anyhow, and Saturday proved much better access.

I would stay here again if ever in the area.

welcome was excellent.
bedroom was spacious. breakfast was very good, although no black puddings! staff were a litte slow,
dined in the priory restaurant in the evening.Very disappointed with the choice of main courses, when food arived did not look or taste appetising and was very expensive - not good value. Wish we had dined in the sports bar. service was very slow and waitress was quite grumpy.
