5 star resort.

The place went through a renovation in last year and was renamed, therefore you do not find many reviews of this place.

The location is kind of in the middle of a forest, which gives a very relaxing and serene quality to it. Although it is in a forest, the highway is kind of next to it so getting there is pretty easy.

The rooms are very new and the the entire place is stylish.

The outdoor onsen is incredible, large and expansive with different themed spas surrounded by lush greenery.. I went in July and was impressed but it would look even more spectacular if there was snow.

The buffet dinner and breakfast are both top notch with lots of different choices.
The food is well prepared and definitely look pretty classy.

Staff spoke some English but are more than willing to help.

The drive there is also just as entertaining as you see well organized farms and pristine forests as well as some minor attractions, which are interesting on their own.

Only minor fault is no hotel wifim but situation may change in the future.

Booked this hotel without not much expectation, just want to have a stopover with hotspring (onsen) during our road trip from Hakodate to Furano. This hotel is located nearby Lake Toya with easy access from main traffic when you drive from Lake Toya. Everything is very new which I believe the resort was upgraded recently. I must say the outdoor onsen area has blown my mind as it consisted of over 10 onsen with different ingredients and functions (areas for female / male will be interchanged everyday), it made us feel like we were in an onsen amusement park! The food and services were excellent and the room was very comfortable with western bedding and a traditional japanese living area. You won't regret to stay here if you travel in the area. P.S. Would be perfect if free wifi is available.

We stayed at the hotel in July and had a great time there. The hotel was recently renovated and is modern in comparison with the other onset hotels in Noboribetsu which were built/renovated in the 70's/80's/90's. The hotel is a bit far from Noboribetsu thought.

The standard room can easily fit 4 people. The onset is very nice especially the outdoor ones.

The only drawback is that the staff has limited English speaking skill.

From the library with the awesome Hi-Fi system to the water effects lighting to the beautiful outdoor onsen this place is very cool and hip.

My only negative is the lack of English skills but otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too.

The room was tastefully decorated but not quite up to the coolness of the lobby. Very clean and of course supplied with all the requisite Japan onsen clothes. I had a VIP room which has a private onsen tub. The toiletries are all Sheisado.

The highlights is the outdoor onsen and the stream that runs in front of the hotel. The setting for the onsen is beautiful and there are multiple tubs with different herbal treatments. The onsen is open almost 24 hours. If is very clean and wonderful.

Room tip: Choose a room on the stream side

I stated three different Hoshino resorts in this trip, Hakodate, Touya Lake and Kita Yuzawa. This resort was the best among three resorts.

We stayed at Premium Room on 10th floor, The room was completely renovated including the toilet, bath room and all others. It is new and clean.

iThe air conditioning was designed to manage the room temperature without strong air.
We ate "Japanese Kaisei" which was the best among three Hoshino resorts.

The employee are new and made some mistakes. But it was obvious that they tried to do their best.

Some of review in other sites complained that many of small hot spring tabs shall not be colored. owever, I believe that Hoshino tried to make the guests experience the different type of hot springs. I like their approach. The guests shall not look the resort in old fashion view.

I give them 5 stars.

Only issue I had was the baggage handling. The bellman told us to push the baggage carrier ourself from 10th floor to outside of the building and load our baggage in our car ourself. The hotel shall notify us when we check-in. We felt that they do not care of us any more since they got the money.

There is no internet WiFi in the room.

Room tip: The room shall be on 9th, 10th and 11th.T
