Stopped here for supper on our way south from Tobermory. We had been here once for lunch in the spring when heading north (when we saw it for the first time).
The restaurant is clean and the service was friendly and prompt both times, admittedly there were only a few customers at the time.
The food was very good on both occasions. We tried various items on the menu on both occasions- seafood pastas are very good. On both occasions the servings were generous.
For the dinner we ordered on of the specials for two. The pasta with rose sauce was properly done with the sauce being nice and viscous. The salads are fresh and an appropriate size with the proper amount of dressing(s)/The chicken parmisan was lightly breaded, not greasy, and the meat was moist and tender. The italian sausage, the vegetables and the roast potatoes were very good. (we took a portion with us for breakfast the next day) The meat balls were unfortunately a bit on the crumbly and dry side with little flavour but that was offset by the quality of the remainder of the dinner discribed in the foregoing. Coffee was good and refilled in a timely way without having to ask for more.
Then there are their killer desserts....we had the ten layer banana chocolate cake that is made in house. This is a "decandent" pleasure !! Unlike many Italian restaurants the prices are reasonable. If you are travelling in the area definitely recommend going there.
