The pub itself is very quaint, the food is ok, i had baby back ribs which were tender but the caesar salad that came with it was disgusting and ruined the meal

We went to Donegal for a day trip and called in to the "legendary" singing pub. I had the jumbo scampi and my wife had ribs with a caesar salad. The "jumbo scampi" were small balls of bread crumbs with a minute piece of something fishy in it. And the caesar salad was so limp the lettuce looked cooked. Very nice quaint irish pub from the outside but the food was very poor for the price and the atmosphere was just ok. Not at all what I'd expected or been told about.

we stayed in donegal and drove around the atlantic drive. we stopped here for a simple burger and chips and what we got was out of this world. with a superior meat product lots of salad filling in the bun and an expert service the singing pub is a wonder in itself

The Singing Pub is a great stop off bar or a good place to spend an evening or lunchtime in good company. The service is friendly and always willing to cater for needs which are not necessarily on the menu! If you want to eat seafood then this is a great place to do so - fresh mussels and crab claws (the latter in garlic butter are particularly tasty). Add a pint of whatever takes your fancy and you will certainly walk out feeling better for the experience! Located not far from Downings and 'en route' to, or from, the Atlantic Drive the pub/restaurant is perfectly placed.
