I was pretty concerned when we arrived at Zoe Rooms and they asked me 'Didn't you see your email yesterday? I rented your room for tonight to someone else'. Given that I booked the room two months prior to arrival, paid deposit etc I was pretty disappointed and surprised that this happened. The same thing happened to us in Folegandros, also with a privately booked accommodation (not through booking.com) which left us homeless for a night. In all my travel experiences this never happened to me before - only in Greece!
In any case Zoe Rooms had organised for us to stay somewhere else on the first night, which ended up being much nicer than our room at Zoe Rooms. Our room at Zoe backed onto the restaurant's kitchen and had a view of an ugly vacant block and neighbouring apartments. It also was next to the owner's quarters so we could hear their children screaming etc and felt like we were staying in their house. The TV didn't work (not a big deal) and staying there wasn't really a relaxing experience. The pillows were below standard and the mattress was uncomfortable.
The other rooms looked nicer and had views etc so I would be careful which room you stay in, and double check your booking before you arrive.
On the upside, the owners were otherwise helpful and breakfast is not bad (yoghurt and fruit is delicious, but you have to order it) The water is 20m away so you can go snorkeling and the sunset is on your doorstep which is beautiful.

Villa Zoe was an excellent choice for our 1st time on the beautiful island of Milos. It is located in Pelekouda, just a few minutes walk into the pretty, quaint fishing town and sandy beach of Pollonia.
Perfect location for ideal relaxing holidays...and superb sunsets just outside your door!
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Zoe, her husband and their daughter Vanessa with genuine kindness and true Greek hospitality, which continued throughout our 10 day stay.
The family also owns the restaurant Rakomelo, conveniently located just steps away.... Wonderful choices of traditional delicious Greek meals available from morning to night. They also have a beachfront location closeby where you can enjoy your meal by the water's edge.
We were a group of 40, staying at different hotels on the Pelekouda peninsula, most of which did not provide breakfast included, nor an on-site restaurant. Rakomelo also catered AND delivered several great meals to our friends' hotels in the area. Fantastic service!
The rooms are nicely decorated, impeccably clean and include a fully-equipped kitchenette.
Thank you to the entire family at Zoe's for a truly memorable Milos holiday!

Very hospitable and very clean, bright and fresh accommodation! Traditional Greek blue and white and our balcony had a lovely view of the sea. 2 Minute walk to lovely Pollonia village and beach there.

Room Tip: Ask for balcony with sea view :)

Just yesterday we returned from our summer vacations in Milos and still cannot take our minds of this island... We had reserved our room at Villa Zoe and we were really happy to know that they could pick us up from the port of Milos, Adamas. The port was only 10 to 15 minutes from Pollonia, where the appartments are, but since we arrived from Crete at 04:30 it was relieving to know that someone was waiting for us!
The rooms were very clean and the lady who was taking care of it was very punctilious, she even washed the plates tha we were leaving around.
The location is realy quiet and peacfull, allowing us to enjoy the amazing view from our room, since we were lucky enough to get a room with seaview. I shouldn't probably fail to mention that our room also had a jacuzzi, which we really enjoyed.
If you decide to travel with your car or to rent one from the island, as we did, you shouldn't worry about parking place, as there is plenty of it around the complex.
Everymorning we were taking our breakfast at Rakomelo, Mrs's Zoe daughter's cafe-restaurant, which was also included in the price we had booked! Rakomelo was also open during the rest of the day which was really convenient, especially when we returned from the beach an needed to grab bite!!
Mrs Zoe,is a very kind and sweet hostess and was more than willing to accomodate us the best way possible. Vanessa (the daughter) was realy friendly and smily and was ready to give us an advice every time we asked! They gave us maps of the island, broshures for boat excursions(something that you don't want to miss), booklets with what to do in the island and how to do it and pretty much everything that needed to explore the island ( you don't need to bother buing expensive maps or guides)
On the whole we had great time Milos and we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Zoe... We kind of fell in love with this island and we definately recommend both the island and Villa Zoe for your vacations!!

We stayed here for 3 days in August. The rooms were simple, but immaculate and decorated nicely. Service was unmatched. The whole family gets you with a warm smile and good morning. They truly appreciate their guests. Real Greek island hospitality. Vanessa took care of our every need arranging day trips and the like, even offering to pick is up from the Pollonia bus stop. They were super accommodating to our dietary needs (kosher,) and were always careful and attentive to the details. Great eating areas as well with superb views.
