We spent 7 nights in Pollonia and spent every night in Rifaki. I actually wish we'd eaten there too. Very relaxed atmosphere, great staff. Became our "local" if only for a week. Good coffee as well.

Nothing fancy, just simple and fresh ingredients! Decent pizza, good crepes and very tasty orange pie (portokalopita). Very reasonably priced as well, it is one of the few nice places for breakfast or a snack in the area.

When you travel abroad, it is always good to find a hangout that you can rely on - and Rifaki is that spot in Pollonia. We were in Milos for several days, and I used Rifaki's for coffee and breakfast every morning even though breakfast was included in my package elsewhere. It was nice to stroll the 5 minutes to Rifaki, which is on Pollonia's harbor, centrally located near the hub of the village. The waffles were wonderful, the view of the harbor great, and the coffee was good enough. There were several tables of local regulars - always a good sign. After an active day and a seafood dinner we would stop by Rifaki's for a beer, perhaps a pizza or sandwich for our son, and a game of checkers or catching up on emails on Rifaki's reliable and free wifi. The pizza and sandwiches were very standard fare. The service from the two gentlemen who waited on us and the young lady behind the counter was exceptional. Milos was wonderful, Pollonia was the escape we needed and wanted, and Rifaki's tied the whole thing together. Our thanks to the staff there for making our trip better.

I think this is one and the same as the rifaki cafe which I've already reviewed, either way I feel obliged to review this place as I recognise the menu in one of the pictures.

I stayed in pollonia for 5 nights and I think we stopped by this cafe every night for a relaxing drink overlooking the sea.

We first went on our first night in milos late on after getting in on the ferry late at night, we got a pizza and salad and a much-needed drink each. It was just what we needed!

We went thereafter every night and the main thing that stands out was the excellent and friendly service that we received. The guy working there over the summer stopped to have a chat and ask what we'd been up to every night, he even gave us a free piece of cake one night which was a nice touch. Without a doubt he was the nicest person we met over the 3 weeks!

The outside area is very relaxing and has a lovely view over the beach and the bay area, it is a nice way to unwind late on. The inside of the cafe is very well decorated and is very modern with colourful design. Also there is a little cat that lounges outside and in that likes to play..

I would definitely reccommend this place for a relaxing drink with a brilliant view, with excellent service as well!

We stayed in pollonia, milos last July (2012), and we must have stopped by for a drink in this cafe every night of our stay.

There are very few places to sit and have a drink late on in pollonia and luckily we found this cafe on our first night when we were in desperate need of a drink and a quick snack. The outside seating looks over a little beach/bay area and the indoor seating is modern and has a funky design.

The best thing about this place is the service, the guy that served us (pretty much every night) was by far the nicest person we met in Greece this year. He always stopped for a chat and gave us information on different beaches on the island etc. He was a genuinely nice guy! Also they had a very friendly cat that liked a little bit of attention and a play, it was nice to see it well looked after..

Overall, this was a very nice and relaxing place to have a quiet drink late on whilst looking out over the sea.
