“Highly recommended!!”
Reviewed July 17, 2014 via mobile

We 've been there in June twice..lunch and dinner! We loved the place, the people and the food! Both times i had: apanemia salad, yellow cheese from cyprus with figs jam and pork with wine mavrodafni....i just loved those plates!! It's a restaurant that might doesn't have sea view, but when you eat you need it to be tasty, traditional, clean and in a nice atmosphere with good people! This place has all the package!! Anyway, when you are all day at the beach, you need to be there when you eat, too??!!! I don't! Trust me and try it! There is no way to be disappointed! ;-)

“Fun seafood in Pollonia”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

Apanemia is not on the main street of the seaside village of Pollonia and does not, therefore, provide the beautiful views such restaurants as Gialos, Ammos, and Enalion have. It is however a 5-minute walk from the sea and definitely worth a visit. We actually visited twice during a week-long stay in Pollonia.

Apanemia is a lot of fun. There is live music (good old Greek tunes) twice a week; the band is excellent. So is the food. There is all kinds of fresh seafood, including grilled calamari. Do not miss the signature Apanemia salad, which is the best we had in Greece. Prices are very reasonable.

“by far the best in the village”
Reviewed July 3, 2014 via mobile

We tried most of the restaurants in Pollonia and this was by far the best. Great honest food, I liked the wine from the Konstakis vineyard (made in Pollonia!), relaxed atmosphere and attentive service, nothing more to say!

“A meal well-worth the short walk”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

I can understand why many diners consider this one of the best or the best restaurant in Pollonia.(currently at #3 of 18) Thanks to Tripadvisor, we were made aware of it's location. While situated along the main street leading through the village towards the waterfront, it is easy to overlook. Walking distance from the village core (at the waterfront) is about 3-5 minutes. We enjoyed two excellent dinners here and would have tried more of their menu had we been there longer. Every traditional Greek meal we did have a chance to try we enjoyed immensely. While there is no sea-view, the location and atmosphere as well as friendly staff make this restaurant well worth seeking out.

“No sea view! Ok, but not great.”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

I wish I could rate this restaurant higher, but can't. The staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable, but the food is just so-so. If you are staying for a long time in Pollonia, then I would recommend going simply to try another place. They also have live music a couple of nights per week, which is nice!
