“Outstanding zoo/playground”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

We lived near Pairi Daiza for 2 years and bought the annual membership for my kids and me. It is a gorgeous park with gardens, buildings, and animal habitats integrated thoughtfully. We learned a bit about the animals but its value is more the entertainment than the education. There is a huge sandy playground the the middle where adults can eat and linger while the kids run and play. The "birdhouse" serves a similar function for rainy or cold days, with the added bonus that you might see a sloth climb slowly past near the roof line.

There are a number of places to buy food within the park. The hamburgers we bought the first time were awful and over-priced, so every other time we brought our own food in a backpack. The park seems perfectly happy with that solution. You can even rent a little wagon to tow your food and/or children.

With the membership you can go for an hour and have fun, but the park has enough to occupy visitors for an entire day of you have the stamina.

“Probably the most beautiful zoo on earth”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Pairi Daiza is the most beautiful zoo I have ever visited. Animals are exposed in beautiful and natural decors. Their welbeing is the main concern of the Pairi Daiza owners.

“Beautiful animal parc, with accent on animal and parc”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

This parc is not like all the others....lot of attention on nature and animal welfare , they make it clear that all the animals should be better off in their natural habitat, but that that sadly is not always possible (lots of rescued and confiscated species), they take care of all these amazing creatures but not without reminding every single visitor of the importance of wildlife and the often destructive relationship between humans and nature(big boat close to the giraffes): a really educating value for kids. One big play area for kids to enjoy while mum and dad can have a drink and keep an eye on them. Clean and well kept gardens (understatement), huge aquarium, do not miss the bats and the bird show and the "free" monkeys....Entrance not too expensive either. Nice pictures are taken with parrots on your shoulder when entering. (available when leaving the parc, not for free of course, but nice souvenir, surely helps taking care of the animals) Animals are being taken good care of, not much concrete in compairison with so my other "zoos".... Really worth a visit!

“Multi Themed Park”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

This park will amaze you, from the outside you might think, "Nothing Great", they have added much to this park in the last 10 years. You can not really see it all in a day.

“Unexpectedly pleasent”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

this is not "yet another fun park".
It is in a real location build around a former abbay and an antique farm house. Nothing is fake every stone came from its continent and age.
Animals are in decent areas.
Simply astonishing the hawks show.
Surely suggested instead Disneyland.
