We stayed here for two nights in order to visit Yala Game Park and couldn't have enjoyed it more, ( the hotel, not the Game park which was overrated in comparison with the much better experience at Udawalawe). The setting is great, on the edge of padi fields and with its own pleasant grounds and centrally located swimming pool, itself a feature. The rooms were well-appointed, clean and comfortable with outstanding room service. The restaurant is on an upper floor overlooking the grounds and serves excellent meals - amongst the best we experienced. The only criticism was the flaky wifi connection, only really effective in reception.
We'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
