Beautiful surroundings in the outdoor restaurant right next to the lake
Good service by practiced old hands
A quartet playing music and singing in the gardens was the saving grace of the evening - just marvellous
Average to poor starters and main dishes. Both our main dishes were passable but rather tasteless.
When I mentioned the average quality of the food the waiter rolled his eyes - he had obviously heard this comment before and mumbled something about the Chef.
Very expensive indeed (paid over $500 for a meal for two)- no problem if the food had been of a high quality.
The Hotel Posta 10 minutes drive down the road had better food at 1/5th of the price
Nowhere near even 1 star Michelin, but go there for the unmatched romantic ambience and perhaps just a dessert
