“Best holiday for a long time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2011

We stayed here in May this year with a group of friends, we hired a minibus from Alicante airport which we used daily to sightsee and generally get around. Casa En El Campo was the perfect place to stay, we had such a good time. Its such a lovely place where you can relax, there are lots of quiet places to sit in the garden. A huge outdoor table where we had some great breakfasts, and in the evenings a fab barbecue. We would thoroughly recommend this place. Geoff and Karen are the perfect hosts.

We stayed at Casa en el Campo for our first every all-family (ages 3months-66 years) holiday and found the accommodation to be perfect for our group. Jeff & Karen were very obliging with every aspect, and took a lot of trouble to find out about our individual needs. Breakfast deal was great, definitely worth paying a bit extra for, the food supplied was varied and fresh. Location was good for us, with plenty to do within easy distance. Nice pool & plenty of play equipment (although the weather kept us out of it a few days, can't be helped). Trampoline and table-tennis were big hits.

We have been back a week and are already looking forward to booking for next year, Jeff & Karen have done a fantastic job this place is Beautiful, Relaxing, Quality Accommodation, Wonderful Pool, Views of the mountains and is Immaculate. We hired the four rooms as we didn't want to share, and there was NO aerobics in the pool or saving sunbeds, Also you have Internet access if you need it,

When we stayed the Bull run was on in Ondara ( No Bulls hurt but some men came close :) ) its free to get in BUT do take something to sit on as the stone seats do get a bit uncomfortable after a little while but good family fun.

And Jeff helped out when we got lost getting there and then again when the car broke down ie letting us ring car company to get it replaced, They told us were the better beaches and restaurant's were and even drew some maps.

Breakfast items were replaced as and when we needed them Breads, Spreads, Bottled water etc.

Denia is a lovely place to visit with a Harbour, Market, Shops and lovely Restaurants there is also a Catamaran Sunset Cruise ( but not on Thursday which was when we went ) so had a lovely meal instead, there is something for all even a small funfair and a little park for the dads to take the kids on why the mums shop :)

We had a great day out at the Aqualandia Water Park in Benidorm great for all age groups ours went from 70 yrs to 13yrs of age, But take your own lunch as can be expensive but brillant day out.

Karen & Jeff live on site but are there if and when you need them, but leave you to it if you dont, We did have a lovely evening with them when my husband did a BBQ and we asked them to join us can't wait to go back.

Thanks Jeff & Karen x

We have just returned from the casa en el campo with a party of 8 adults { between 55 and 62 years of age] .The house and gardens are of a fantastic quality and Jeff & karen were the perfect hosts .We had the total running of the whole ground floor area ,gardens and pool. The breakfast cereals, fruit ,cakes ,brioch ,fruit juices , variety of yoghurts, breads & spreads ,conserves ,teas and coffee & Bottled water all of which were replaced daily. This in our opinion is as good as it gets ,it is a b& b with a difference.
Well done Jeff & Karen

Myself & my wife have just returned from Casa en el Campo and can only describe the experience as amazing!

Jeff & Karen have done a fantastic job and have created a true paradise in the sun. The accomodation has been tastefully renovated into a true spanish home with all of the luxuries you need and more. The gardens are ideal for chilling in the evening as is the pool for relaxing during the day, although we didn't do much of this due to the extensive site-seeing at your disposal from this base. We covered 1000kms in one week, taking in the delights of Valencia and much of the coastline and mountains, a lot of which were recomended by our hosts. The food in the region is sumptuous and a real surprise.

Nothing is too much trouble and the food cooked on the barbeque by the hosts was fantastic.

There is a real family atmosphere here and you are made incredibly welcome from arrival till departure.

The property is immaculate and you feel at home immediately. We will definetely be returning next year with our friends and family who after seeing the photos were blown away!

If you want a base to explore rural Spain with the added bonus of a fantastic town nearby (Denia) you can't go wrong with this property.

We stayed at Casa en el Campo for 4 nights in early July and couldn't fault it at all. Beautifully renovated house with elegant interior, everything you could want down to a night light for our son in the family room, those little details really matter. Gardens and pool are great, plenty of toys and lilos to play with, plus trampoline and table tennis. We had so much fun and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Jeff and Karen. They really did make us feel so welcome and even provided little maps for getting around and finding the best beaches, places to eat etc. When you are travelling with small children, you just want things to be easy and relaxed, which was definitely the case here. We will be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa en el Campo for a fantastic holiday.
