The place is great, staff is really nice and the food was good! However we were there on a Saturday hoping to have a nice pool day and part of the hotel was under construction. It was uncomfortable having construction workers around and it got really noisy. Staff said they left at noon, but they kept going until 7pm.

Valeria,
Thanks for your review. We fell sorry the construction disturbed you.
Great news are:
First, it´s over. We do have 3 new lovely Cuvée Suites for our guests.
Second, you and all our guests within the construction period are granted with a 50% discount on this new suites, for you to come back or to handle this benefit to a friends coming to the wine country.
Again, thanks for choosing us!
Saludos,

We actually moved to Villa Mansa after finding the original hotel we had booked in Mendoza rather unsatisfactory. Its a nice intimate hotel in the country very close to several great wineries. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and offed a patio to enjoy the views. The only downside to the hotel was the restaurant, food was pricey and varied in quality from just okay to not so good. For supper there are no restaurants at all near by so you are pretty much stuck eating at the hotel. For lunch I would recommend eating at one of the neat by wineries. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Get a room on the second floor for a good view

What an amazing few days spent at Villa Mansa. This hotel had everything we could have asked for - friendly and welcoming staff (thank you Laura, Maria and Leticia!), comfortable, clean and spacious rooms and a perfect setting among the vineyards.

We were able to cycle to neighbouring vineyards, organised by reception, which was a great way to experience Mendoza.

The breakfasts were also a highlight - a great choice for everyone.

Could not recommend this hotel more - such a relaxing stay. We will be back!

A small hotel with currently only twelve bedrooms on the edge of the city in the wine district. The rooms are large with a balcony but unfortunately the weather was too cool to enjoy this or the pool.

The bed was comfortable and big enough that two male friends didn't feel embarrassed to share. As in the description, there is a special wine fridge in each room but it was more pleasant to enjoy wine in the hotel lounge.

The small restaurant had good food and the wine list was fairly extensive and not overpriced at least by European standards.

There are some wine tours available. The ones including transport are expensive. By using our own car, we saved USD200. Over the day, the wine tasting didn't represent enough to stop you driving safely and legally.

My only reservation was that there was building work on additional bedrooms going on which stopped me sitting in the pleasant gardens.

I'd be happy to stay here again.

The service is this hotel is amazing. The front desk staff helped us make many reservations throughout our trip - from renting hikes, to winery visits, to restaurants, to cars. They were friendly and knowledgeable. It's a quaint property in a quiet area with wineries walkable/bike-able. The room was nice, though the bed was a little too soft for my taste. Breakfast was nice every day - continental with fresh juices and eggs made to order. I'd definitely stay here again. AND they have a lovely guard dog who is so friendly and greeted us every time we arrived.
