“What an experience! Highly recommended”
Reviewed January 23, 2012

My husband and our three boys (21, 20 and 12 yrs old) were visiting Mendoza en December 2011. We wanted to be near the main attractions and far from the chaos and noise. In Villa Mansa we found the perfect place, set between vineyards and with the majestic view of the Los Andes mountains as backdrop. But still close to all those places that we didn´t want to miss: the region wineries, the adventure activities, the beautiful city of Mendoza, amongst others. The decoration has captured the typical character of the area, but with gadgets that make your stay special, like your own wine cellar in the rooms (apart from the main wine cellar in the basement) and unlimited wi-fi usage. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the never absent sun, reading under a parasol, or sunbathing in the piscine. The restaurant was a revelation, traditional but with the touches of a gourmet cuisine: perfect combination! We tried a whole range of novelty empanadas: filled with chorizos, or morcillas or even goat´s cheese. We have tried the typical empanadas before, but these ones were an experience apart! The staff was always efficient and agreeable, and the warmth of its owner, Viviana, made all the difference. Overall, an amazing experience to recommend!!

We stayed here for three nights in January 2012. This small hotel has great rooms, a nice breakfast, a helpful staff and really is centrally located to visit the surrounding area. It was hot during our visit and the air conditioning was great! Don't miss out on their onsite restaurant. If you can time it for an asado, you're in for a treat. Viviana and the team were great. Kaiken, Vistalba, Fabre Montmayou are all next door to Villa Mansa.

My husband and I were visiting Mendoza for our first anniversary late October-early November. We wanted to stay outside the city to enjoy the "country" and I wanted a view of the Andes. I was getting frustrated as the properties I had read about were booked up and seemed to be very expensive. I happened upon these reviews of Villa Mansa and decided to book, especially with such a great value. What luck! We absolutely loved it there. The rooms are large and very clean and everything is new. The beds are huge and so comfortable. All of the people working there that we encountered were nice and helpful, and we got to know Vicky the best. The breakfast in the morning was so nice to grab before we headed out for our mountains trips or wine tours. It was great to be able to eat in at night when we were tired and they were also looking to accommodate our desires (when I said I didn't want salad with the Sunday roast dinner, they made me a whole dish of asparagus). The Sunday roast, by the way was amazing!! One night we were going to a late dinner in Mendoza, so Vicky whipped up some "picada" to snack on before we left. We even got to go down to the wine cellar and pick out our own wine for dinner. They also referred us to our tour guide via email before our stay, so everything was all set up for us (and he picked us up at the airport and drove us to the hotel). The two dogs are very sweet as well. We stayed 4 nights and would love to go back!!

We stayed at Villa Mansa for 4 nights early November. What a nice experience! We've arrived after the " sonda" and the hotel had no power. Vicky and Viviana were just great; they whipped out a quick candle light dinner for us with a great wine from their cellar.

Our room was big and the bed very comfortable. Flat screen television (which we didn’t turn on), king bed, and sleeper sofa. The sheets were soft and clean. The bathroom was spacious as well. The hotel was just built in April and it is secluded (it may be hard to find if you are driving at night) and beautiful. Having breakfast in the morning seeing the Andes was just unforgettable.

The staff is just great. Vicky and Shauna at the desk were always helping us with directions and reservations. Every morning at breakfast, they would help us to plan our day, from vineries to visit to sights to see. They always gave us their honest opinion on an activity. We also had dinner there one night and it was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

They are also growing their own vineyard, which looks beautiful. Villa Mansa has the potential to be a five star hotel!

If you are a dog lover they have two dogs that run around (outside) the property... They are so cute...

If you stay at Villa Mansa, you have to visit Kaiken and Vista Alba Wineries...A must see...

My wife and me visited Villa Mansa this recent week end, for our 36th wedding anniversary... We enjoyed an outstanding hotel, with a very comfortable room, and very nice and kind people who received us as if we had been friends for a whole life... So we can only agree with previous reviewers about quality and service.

Ah... and a special mention for two wonderful dogs, as friendly as their owners!!!!

Of course, we recommend the place and hope to be able to come back some day!!!

We stayed for 5 days, the rooms are big and great, with huge beds and beautiful decoration. The hotel is located in a very nice area outside the city (20 min), close to main winneries and facing a wonderful view to the Andes mountains. Viviana, the owner, is always ready to kindly help guests with restaurant and winneries bookings. They also have a restaurant inside the hotel with good food and wines for a reasonable price. The best thing to do is rent a car in the airport with a GPS and do everything by your own, we preferred that from joining big excursions. And is very easy to find everything if you use the GPS. Definetly recomend Villa Mansa!

Room Tip: all rooms are equaly good, with the same standards

Villa mansa is an outstanding boutique hotel placed in the midle of mendoza's best wineries.

The people are very kind and you can feel like being in your own home. The bedrooms are very comfortables with a King Size bed and a very big bath. You have your own wine cava and they give you a welcome wine as a gift!

It has excellent details and a restaurant with a cheff that you will not find easily in other place.

They have to improve the internet connection, but you will have other more interesting things to enjoy rather than getting online!
