We took family out for a birthday supper and really enjoyed our time. We brought coloring books and crayons for the little ones but they supplied them also. The menu had some really good things that are not found on standard menus. This cafe is part of a small chain of cafes each named for the city that they are in.
My wife and I each had the Monte Cristo
The best in the Northwest! Triple-decker, egg-dipped delight. Egg bread grilled & stuffed with ham, fresh roasted turkey, swiss & Tillamook cheddar. Served with strawberry freezer jam. $11.29
The kids ordered off of the kids menu are each got M&M pancakes. Served with real maple syrup. You can tell that they take pride in what they serve! I think anything on the kid's menu was $5.99. This included drink and free refills.
When we are in the area again we'll plan on coming here more than once. There were so many good things to choose from.
Their menu just said breakfast and lunch but they are open until 8. Click on Location on their web site for hours for each cafe. http://www.cafesinc.com/
Their was a canoe hanging upside down from the ceiling... we didn't have time to go look at all the decorations but they were interesting.
Their motto: By the way, we believe comfort food NEVER goes out of style!
