This is a lovely hostal in Novetlé, next to Xativa in Valencia. The room, looking over the tile roof onto the interior patio, was spacious and comfortable with a big bathroom and big walk in closet.
Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, but it would be very, very comfortable to spend a few days in the area in this hostal to visit the castle and ruins in Xativa. The Belgian owners are very willing to help you with anything you may need and recommended a place to have tapas down the street which was good. The hostal is on a quiet street. We had breakfast in the lovely patio of the house.

We booked to stay for one night on our way to the south and liked it so much we booked again to stop there on our way back.
Carina and Stef are very hospitable and it was lovely to be welcomed on their terrace with a drink and a chat after a long drive. As others have said, the rooms and bathrooms are spotless and the beds very comfortable.
Xativa, 2km distant, is a very pleasant town for a short stay and is well connected by road or rail if you want to travel further afield.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great.

With inclement weather almost anywhere else in Spain, we made a last-minute decision to spend the extended Easter weekend in Xativa. The TripAdvisor reviews steered us to Casa La Vuelta, and we had an excellent 3-night stay in this cozy bed and breakfast. The owners, Carina and Stef, handled our email reservation request in a prompt friendly manner. Being foreigners ourselves, we appreciated the ability to communicate with Carina and Stef in English.

Casa La Vuelta is actually located in the village of Novetle, a 1-km walk from Xativa. Beside the main road busy with cars, there are also quiet upper and lower roads between orange groves. We arrived to Xativa by train and could peacefully commute between the town and Novetle on foot.

The B&B felt like home. Carina and Stef welcomed us with a refreshing chat over drinks and went far beyond the expected to keep us happy throughout the visit. Stef suggested to us restaurants in Xativa as well as friendly Novetle tapas bar Badenes where we had dinner on the first night.

At Casa La Vuelta, we and our two children stayed in the quiet family room on the top floor. The large room had three beds and two windows with a lovely view on the chessboard-like square and, over village rooftops, on green Valencian hills. We could also use the living room on the ground floor as well as the adjacent patio. The children (aged 6 and 8) greatly enjoyed playing the card and board games available in the house. Freshly squeezed orange juice was the highlight of diverse and plentiful breakfasts.

The extensive castle on the hill top is a must-see in Xativa and easily took the whole day. A good way to hike up to the castle is on a trail past caves and snow well. Following Stef’s advice, we spent the last day on a peaceful hike along Albaida River to Black Cove (of a Neanderthal-skull fame), renovated water mill, and further to the village of Bellus where we had a truly delicious lunch in a restaurant.

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay in Casa la Vuelta and highly recommend it to everyone.

We stayed only for one night on our way further soth and loved our choice. The house is spotlessly clean, the rooms are big and very comfortable. The bath showers in perfect condition. Stef and Carina are really attentive to details and care for the best of their guests. Excellent welcome with a chat with the hosts over a cup of tea, very important if you have been driving most of the day. Good recommendation for restaurants in the area also. It was just what we needed, a relaxing place before we set off the next day on the next leg of our journey.

My family and I stayed at Casa La Vuelta for one night in late December of 2012. I wish our plans had kept us in the Xativa area longer because we would have really enjoyed a second night at Casa La Vuelta.

This B&B run by an extremely gracious and friendly Belgian couple, Carina and Stef, was one of the best we stayed in during our two week trip in Spain. The rooms were a refreshing change of pace from many of the other places we'd stayed. Stef and Carina took some time design/paint the rooms and added nice furniture so you feel quite calm and content upon entering your room (plus of course they keep everything really clean). The breakfast was also really good - simple, flavorful (especially tomato/garlic mash) and filling. If you're heading for Xativa or need a base to see the surrounding area Casa La Vuelta is a great place to spend the night and refresh after a day of exploring.

Thanks Stef and Carina.

Room Tip: We stayed in the top floor rooms, one on the right has a nice view of the square and big bathroom (didn't look out the window on the one on the left - but room was nice and big).
