“Beautiful & Peaceful weekend get-away location”
Reviewed January 15, 2014 for a stay in January 2014

Fantastic cottage, easy to find, stunning location, perfectly equipped (every kitchen utensil you can think of + more!) - We booked for a weekend away after the busy Christmas period, and couldn't have gotten more relaxed. The views from the windows both up and down were beautiful. Was really easy to get to from Glasgow-the directions given were really detailed (i'm not the most geographically minded and we made it just fine). Perfect weekend break.

“A Lovely Little Gem..”
Reviewed December 29, 2013 for a stay in December 2013

We decided to book a christmas family holiday online and come across this little gem. We stayed 21/12 - 28/12
The cottage was really warm and cosy from the moment we walked through the door and the beautifully decorated christmas tree just made it even more perfect. (A big thank you to Lynda)
I can't fault anything.

“Cosy and comfortable!”
Reviewed January 8, 2013 for a stay in December 2012

An excellent self-catering property, extremely well-appointed. We came for a New Year break and settled in very easily. Although the cottage is in a beautiful, quiet location, with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside (and amazing dark skies at night!), it was not hard to find with the directions provided by the owner.
The living room was warm with two sofas - one each! - the heat being provided by a log-burning stove as well as central heating. All mod cons like Freeview TV, wi-fi, DVD and video player were available.
The king size bed was very comfortable although a slightly larger duvet would be even better. The kitchen was the best equipped I have seen in many years of renting self-catering properties. All in all, the cottage has been modernised to a really high standard, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all. There is plenty of room to bring your family too.

Liked best: The cosy living room
Liked least: The farm track up to the property, which to be fair isn't the owner's responsibility.

“Perfect”
Reviewed September 18, 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Perfect cottage, perfect location, everything you could wish for a restful holiday, yet not far from Edinburgh, Glasgow and lots of lovely places to discover in Scotland. Perhaps the only downside is the tub, and not a shower which is complicated for tall people. The road leading to the cottage has some pot holes but once you arrive at the cottage the road is well forgotten. The owners were discreet, but helpful when needed.
